Just wondering, if anybody going to the Serenity Con in the UK is going to pop out and see The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy (THHGTTG)?

The UK release date is the 29th April (1 week before the US) so any US people coming over can see it before their friends in the states

I have no idea where the nearest cinema will be that will be showing it - but the tube isn`t that far away for a detour into London.

Now that's an inspired idea!

I wonder if there are any matinee showings I can get to before I go to the con in the afternoon?

See ya!

My only problem will be all the stuff that I would have to leave in the car.

Just watching the Dr Who Introduction at the moments - hey it looks like fun, another BBC product done good ... looking forward to staying in tonight

Actually the release date for HHGTTG in the US is 4/29 too! And yes, of course, we're all going to be there with our browncoats on and carrying a towel!

42!

This sounds like a good thing to do on Friday to avoid registration queues and if you're not invited to the meet and greet *seethes at those who are*.

I'm sure some friendly person may well let you dump stuff in their hotel room. I'm just realising what a year this is for sci-fi comebacks.

I just want to point something out:
"Hitchhikers" is one word, Adams once expressed his confusion at people calling it "THHGTTG" "HHGG" or any number of other things including two Hs.

That is my combo nit-pick/random-tidbit for the day.

Oh btw, the meet`n`greet is on at aprox the same time as the beginning of the disco - so there will not much on after registration at the con.
