This is a general appeal for Summer Glau's official fan site. Although I will be at the convention at the end of the month, I will not be seeing any of the talks or able to take pictures of Summer on stage for the website.

I would like to actually have an "official" website photographer who would record Summer's stage appearances if possible. I cannot offer any freebies and the person will have to be a ticket holder for the event.

The job would require you to be able to take high quality pictures (preferably digitally) without flash during the whole of each talk that she does. I will require a LOT of shots to choose the best ones.

Any pictures used will of course be credited to the photographer who takes them, and copyright will remain with the photographer.

I might actually ask to see some examples of your work if you are interested in being the offical website photographer for this event but please don't be offended if I appoint someone other than you.

Sadly, there is no reward involved though. I don't get paid to run the site so I can't offer any compensation but I am sure that my undying gratitude will be sufficient (No? I am shocked!). Well I am sure Summer would be grateful too!

I have sent an email to you.

A word to those who wish to volunteer - a high ISO rating will be required, this will prevent motion blur and camera shake when using no-flash.

I took quite a few photographs of Norah Jones last year and because of a low ISO, only managed to salvage a few shots - the best one is in my general web gallery @ http://zol.fotopic.net/p4100787.html
