Hello,

I have unsuccessfuly searched the net for a while for the lyrics to the main title song for the firefly series.

Does anyone know where i might be able to find it. I really like the message it explains but have a hard time remembering it without seeing it in writing.

If anyone can help it would be great.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

The Ballad of Serenity is one of those songs you just can't help but sing along with when you hear it.

SOUPCATCHER

No matter how many times I watch the episodes I still sing along with the theme song (sometimes louder sometimes softer

). And I get all warm and fuzzy when the opening chords start up.

One thing I love doing is watching a person's reactions to the theme when they first watch an episode, filing that away, and then comparing it to their reaction after they've watched many episodes. It gets under their skin (in a good way) and the point at which they love it is most often noticeable. It's just a matter of time.

Me too. I'm humming it now. Usually, when I watch other TV on DVD or taped TV, I skip over or fast forward through the introduction. I don't do that for Firefly.

I know exactly what you mean. I always listen to the theme on Firefly. Other series, what's the point?

I've seen it written out many places as "Have no place I can be" instead. All the places I've seen it are equally reliable in my mind, since I haven't actually heard it from Mr.J himself. So which is it, and how can you be sure? (Heh, I can't believe I'm asking for references.)
