Wutcha gonna do? Who ya gonna call?

I'm gonna watch Serenity. The pilot (sorry folks, I have no inside connexions). I'm also gonna spend time in the Firefly room on AIM. Anyone wanna schedule a special Virtual Shindig? Say 11pm British time, 3pm Pacific Daylight Time? C'mon all you Flans from around the world; this is your chance to see it @the same time as us lucky Yanks.

Keep the Shiny Side Up . . . (wutzon) Dave Mathews Band, "American Baby", from "Stand Up"

I'm going to go get a kitty. I figure that's a good substitute for the movie. Of course the kitty will be named after a BDH.

I just had a thought about sitting down to watch Hitchhiker's (which I am very anxious to see on its own) and seeing the Serenity trailer in front of it. Got chills just thinking about it. So I think April 29th is our day to celebrate.

Hitchhiker's and Firefly are two of my favorite things in the 'verse. I have been doing the dance of joy ever since I found out that they were going to be put together. I will be there on opening day for Hitchhiker's wearing my Blue Sun shirt and carrying my towel.

Packer fans welcome.
All others tolerated.

yes, I'm going to go to 'Hitchhiker' early on the 29th so I can see the 'Serenity' trailer
(they better not disappoint me!)

It is awfully hard knowing that Universal could have shown us our BDM sooner instead of later...

but I'm willing to believe it is all for the best

*sigh* I'll probably be in labor.
Man, what cruddy timing. Not only will I be REALLY pregnant w/ twins when it's 103F in the shade, but I might have to wait to see the BDM.
Pity me, ya'll!

Sorry, no pity from me. As awesome as the BDM will surely be, two new babies is cause for greater joy. Just so long as you name them after our BDH's.

We asked our kids if they wanted to see the last of the StarWars movies when it comes out at the theatre. My husband and I can easily wait for DVD, as we feel Speilberg really blew it on the new trilogy. However, my kids agreed with us, and said "Mom, instead of wasting money to see StarWars, just hold on to it, and let us go see "Serenity" twice." Thought I'd share...

Just bring a midwife to the movie. I've seen weirder things than a woman giving birth inside a theater.
Just buy two extra tickets so they don't accuse you of sneaking those two minors in.

Ok. I'm not normally one to nitpick, but this just hurt. Its Lucas, not Spielberg.

You know, not a bad idea at all. I think I may just invite a group over and watch Serenity. I'll need to come up with some kind of fake party...folks around here are wary of the word firefly.

Rae, That is a beautiful story.

Pity you? Pity you! I rejoice for you. I am so happy for you and even a little jealous-just a little. Golly- twins? Very shiny. In a way it's a good thing that the BDM got moved back to Sept. Maybe by then your little ones will be able to be left at granmas for the 2 hours and 17 minuets that you'll need to catch Serenity.

Thanks Like I said, I'm not at all bummed about my little ones being on the way. We tried for a long time to get them.
I don't expect pity for that.

The phrase was more tounge in cheek than anything.
I promise everyone!!! I'm thrilled!!!!

No. As I said, I'm going to watch Serenity, the pilot episode (not trailer), on the originally scheduled release date for the BDM.

ThatWeirdGirl thinks it sounds like a good idea, and may try to organize a party IRL. That sounds like a good idea to me, TWG; reckon I may try to do likewise. That would preclude a Virtual Shindig. Or would it? Maybe I could do both. I love that ep.

I understood that the previews before 'Hitchhiker' would include our BDM
I don't know if that is still the plan,
I can't even remember where I read it...
but I'll be there waiting and hoping!

(I'll check around and see if I can find the original information)

Then again, @the rate Spielberg's going, Harrison Ford'll be 90 by the time he finishes the next Indiana Jones trilogy.

Oh girlfriend, I am right there with you on that. I was delighted about each one of my blessings-5!! to be exact but later and later on each due date. My last baby was born 2 weeks and 11 minuets "late" but when I share that story my son says "Mom, how could I have been born late if I was born on my birthday?"

Wow; five!!! That must be so wonderful! Lots and lots of work, but still wonderful.
I might have to get ahold of you when I can't figure out what end of the babies the diapers are supposed to go on.

Well, I didn't have them all at one time. By the time I had my 5th my oldest was 15 so the older ones help. By the way, when it comes to which end the diaper goes.....it doesnt really matter-either way is fine
