Oh, my God!

My heart stopped when I read Joss' email yesterday and saw Denver on the list, thinking my non-SPOILER prayers had been answered! I wouldn't have to come up with a way to avoid trailers, previews and my fellow Firefly crew members for 5 more months in order to see "Serenity" FRESH...experience it as Joss intended!

And then I found it was already SOLD OUT...

Ahh...

So who all made it in?

To all you lucky 'coats, I'd suggest someone in Denver think about hosting a midnight potluck afterwards…

My shiny crew of eight up here in Ft. Fun has been having wacky fun meeting monthly, watch a few episodes together and then sitting down to a yummy potluck spread afterwards—definitely NOT protein in all colors of the rainbow. We were successful on our last heist, so currently got money for fresh strawberries and other good eats…

It’s been a blast to watch the episodes in a crowd of now loyal browncoats (managed to converted a few along the way...

) Plus gathering around my dinner table for the feast afterwards and yakking about our favorite characters, lines, film shots, effects, music spots, etc…always thrilled.

Well, wish I was going...woulda brought a fresh batch of my yummy, homemade Ice Planets to share too. Big hit at the last potluck.

But back to drafting my 5 month hibernation plan…

JINSAKU

Me and 3 of my buddies happened to make it in.. I "discovered" Firefly a year or so ago, and we were all work buddies at the time. I made one guy watch it, who then exerted his influence (along with me) to the other two. We're all big fans.

Anyway, the first guy I introduced it to happened to be subscribed to the RSS feed here, and also happened to randomly wake up mega early yesterday.. he was able to grab 4 tickets for all of us through the website. Then he teased us by emailing all of us that he had 4 tickets for all of us to see Serenity on May 5th, and then didn't give us any details. Meanie. ^_^

I can't wait. We've got a full night of drink and food planned around the movie. We've got the tickets in hand now.. and the only negative is the knowledge that once we see it, we can't see it *again* for another 5 months.

Small price to pay... it's gonna be awesome.
