BADGERSHAT

Okay, I just watched the trailer.

Actually, that's not precisely accurate.
I watched the trailer six times, each time moving my face a little closer to my brand new 19" LCD screen (I'd be lying if I said the trailer release had nothing to do with the purchase of the new monitor...).

This movie is going to absolutely kick ass.

Seriously. Major ass being kicked. Soundly. With much slaying of competition, and enormous amounts of revenue being generated, thus ensuring multiple sequels, thus ensuring enormous happiness amongst Browncoats around the world.

Ain't that the truth! Per the trailer, a couple of things. With out saying TOO much, Mal kicks ass. I was a tad concerned that I'd not recognize Capt.Tightpants, but no worries there. Also, I have a crappy monitor, and the visuals from the trailer are AWESOME! And to imagine seeing all that on the big screen?

Have watched the trailer about ten times now - try pausing quicktime for faeces and chortles once in a while.

Action-packed, smartly cut, funny lines - I was sold when it was clear the language remained the same and there was still lead in the weapons.

Sound in space - I can live with it because frankly its not that big a deal.

Once I've seen it a few more times I may dare to enter the over-analysis thread...

So...is "faeces and chortles" a brilliant rephrasing of "shits and giggles", or for "faces and funny bits"?

Either way, nifty.
