I'll keep it short. Fought with the Fandango web site last week and managed to get 3 tickts for the screening in Boston. My friends who know the show all have prior commitments (softball game, out of town, etc.). Oops. And the rest haven't shown interest in being converted.

So I have two spare tickets. I certainly don't want them to go to waste, so I'm putting 'em out here. Respond to this thread and we'll work something out. If you can use them both, that's fine, or it'll be one each to the first two to post.

Oh, to be clear: FACE VALUE. I have no interest in scamming browncoats. My plan is to get to the theater around 9. I'll pick up the tickets then and meet up with folks.

Hope this helps someone(s).

Good for you, 'dog! I'm sure there are boston browncoats around who could use a ticket.

Jayne, your mouth is talkin. Might want to look into that.

Important people don't do field work.

Oh Wow man...I mean, I wish I could be there, but you have integrity, and its refreshing in the face of people getting 200+ on ebay! Good For You and Good for the Browncoats!!!

Kaylee: "What's so damn important about being proper? It don't mean nothing out here in the black."
Simon: "It means more out here. It's all I have..."

Hey, I'm interested in one of those. Definitely!!! In the Boston area. Stupid Fandango site wouldn't work for me or I'd already have my ticket!

That's one for Mug. Mug, go ahead and send me an email at chludena at yahoo dot com.

One more ticket, needs a good home!

WE have a list of folks looking for tickets over at the NE Browncoats Yahoo group. I could take the last ticket off your hands in proxy for the group. Either way please come join us at http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/NE_Browncoats/

I myself already purchased 6 tickets for myself and group members.

Do not post the ticket to that list. Either contact me or Radegund directly. We are trying to keep the ticket distribution system fair and orderly.

Excellent! I shot you off that email just a minute ago. Just wanted to say again here on the boards, "THANK YOU!!!" I'm so excited, I'm practically dancing around in my cubicle. Those around me are amused and mildly concerned for their safety. I'm a very bad dancer.

Also, I just wanted to say sorry to any Boston browncoats who were looking for a pair of tickets. I'm fully aware that my fortune is someone else's disappointment here, and after last week's Fandango disaster we all know exactly how it feels...

Mug feel free to check out he Yahoo group above as well. We are a pretty active group with monthly shindigs (BIG BBQ this month and a trip to the "Wista" ecotarium next month). Would love to have you join us.

Fandango was "turned off" for that theater until 11AM the day after the annoucement. We were able to snag tickets then. Phew.

Hey Cephme,

Yeah, I actually was interested and just went and poked around the Yahoo group. Might stop by a bit later, since many of the people there I will probably actually encounter on Thursday night.

I've really been more of a lurker on this board for a very long time (some really interesting conversations here) but usually I'm reading from work and it's not the best time for me to be writing myself. So anyway, long story short I might not post much, but I'll definitely check it out.

As for the Fandango thing, I kept refreshing it periodically but kept getting errors. Then I got really involved with something at work between like 10:55 and 11:20, and when I checked back, all of a sudden every last ticket was gone. So it doesn't surprise me what you said about the site going active at 11:00. Just my luck to miss it so precisely.

Although it looks like my luck is changing, so who knows?

He he yeah that is what seems to have happend. I bought two tickets at 11:00 on the nose. I was the one who told our list it had gone active, and 4 more at 11:15. Must have just gotten in there in time.

We are not meeting up before the screening but rather after. Feel free to join us at Chow Chau City after the showing.

And I'll call it here. Cephme, you can proxy the second ticket for your group. I'll make arrangements with you by email to get it into the proper hands.

"Mildly concerned for their safety." You are too cute! See you Thursday!

I am too late to ask for the ticket. =sighs=

To boot my employers were nice enough to give me the day off the day before the screening and the day of too! I just have rotten luck I guess.

I suppose I am again *hours* too late for Boston Serenity tix. If by some fluke of nature, I'm not, I'd love to take one of those tickets off your hands.
