Those are great!!

I was having some hassle with the Blue Sun Room earlier - found a Space Cases photo (I have no idea what that show was about but Zol's post got me all intrigued). The preview was for the right photo but when it uploaded it was one of my "Sin City" posters. Go figure! I tried three times then gave up.

And yeah, I had the exact same problem with the Blue Sun Room...I was trying to upload my first ever piece of Firefly fanart and it kept uploading the photo of me with the BDH's.

Talk about serendipity! I've been wondering how on earth I could be paid for maintaining this website - then on the day this thread started I had another email asking me to update it. Does anyone know how far the Radisson is from where the Thistle was. Because I can never afford to stay in the actual hotel - I stayed at a motel down the road for £20 a night for 2 of us at Serenity 1.

If anyone wants any of those badges (other than the one with my nom de net on it, presumably) you can do what I'm going to do: go to www.badgeplanet.co.uk and use the image(s) on the the 'Design Your Own' page to make them! At £3 per 55mm diameter badge with no postage, it's a steal!

Or I can do a load of them and deliver them on the day, of course.

If you want one with your name on, I can always make the image and put it in this thread (or another one might be better) and you can save it and use it on Badge Planet.

Hi! Don't worry about going alone. That's what I did to at the first Serenity con. It was my first con. I met people from the forum... Browncoats are shiny! For the room, you can find a roommate It's also what I did at my first con, shared a room with a browncoat I had never met!

I tried, as you know, but too many of them were too complex for me! All those feet and and hand movements combined left me all confused! It wasn't so bad when it came to sitting/standing on the chairs, and oddly I had no problem with the Macarena and the Time Warp, but the rest just left me lost and bewildered.

I've been going for 7/8 years and I only learnt Men in Black over the weekend! I finally gave up trying to teach myself and got one of the DJs to teach me, very embarrassing. Maybe we should get them to give lessons next time

I think I have to become a companion to afford this hotel - £89 a night! Yikes.

There's a mix, most people put on their glad rags if nothing else but pretty much whatever you wear, you'll fit right in. And yes, there were some outfits that put that theory to the test.

The music selection will be interesting for the Bollywood night. Brimful of Asha. The theme for that BBC1 logo with the Indian dancers. Er. That's it. Unless they play actual Bollywood music.
