Attention Phoenix Browncoats!

Samurai Comics in downtown Phoenix will be hosting a Firefly/ Serenity event on Saturday, May 14 starting at 4pm and going until 8ish (or as long as people want to stay-- the store is open until midnight). This will be the first of four events to be held the second Saturday of every month through August. It should be a lot of fun!

We will be hanging out, viewing episodes, and generally having a good time! You’re welcome to bring snacks, but we need to be courteous and make sure that we clean up after ourselves. I also recommend bringing some cash, as we may pitch in for pizza, depending on what people want to do. The store has drinks for sale.

There may be some giveaways, but we’ll see. ;)

This will be an opportunity to meet and hang out with fellow Browncoats, as well as hopefully create some new ones. :) I hope to see you there!

I seem to remember SpacemanSpiff from this board saying he was coming, but I can't find the e-mail now, so I either erased it, or completely imagined it.

There were a few responses, but I'm not keeping track this time... But should be a good group of friendly Browncoats. :)

ETA: Someone pointed out to me that the release date is listed as 4/3/05, so if you're not the gambling type, then you'll want to sit this one out until there's official word. As you were!
