MISGUIDED BY VOICES

You're looking at a man that read the episode descriptions from Spoiler Guide for B5 and got teary-eyed in crowded computer labs so I can enjoy stuff even when I know what's coming, but I've noticed several spoilers appearing without warning.

We're entering a difficult period, as more and more people on the site have had the good fortune to have seen the BDM in some form, but we need to remember that some people are avoiding even the trailer for fear of being spoiled, and if the thread title doesn't make clear its a spoiler thread, may stumble on something they don't want to.

Unless I plan a holiday to the US for the time the movie opens, I'll probably have to take a vacation from the site, because even the thread titles may start giving stuff away - but we're still a ways from that point.

All I'm asking is, if you've seen the movie, keep the posts in clearly marked threads - even quick throwaways (someone mentioned something about a brief shot in the trailer which confirmed what it was, which generated my thought process for what has become an overlong post).

Here endeth the plea.

I agree. I gave in and watched the trailer. I like thinking of my theories for it but I'm almost terrified to enter any thread because I don't want to stumble upon spoilers. So here's me backing you up, Misguided Voices.

I am in full agreement,
I've been tip toeing around here, avoiding threads...
finding that people who have seen the film want to be helpful and straighten out misconceptions others get from the trailer, by spoiling them for the film!
It is innocent, but it is not kind.

I hope that by next week I'll be spoiler - proof,
(I have a ticket for the Chicago showing)
but I would never want to be guilty of ruining the film for anyone waiting until Sept 30th
(I'm just trying to avoid getting spoiled in the next week).

I promise to respect the rights of other Browncoats!

Me, too. I watched the trailer, but sideways-kinda. You know, lookin' away here and there and such. Seen enough to get an idea, but don't want to know any more.
But when that big space monkey grabbed the ship- ohhh, sorry! I take it back! No space monkeys! I swear!

But, yeah, no spoilers, please.

Def and dum Chrisisall

I agree Ive noticed people seem to be getting a bit slack when marking spoilers these last few days.

Unfortunately I think its only gonna get worse as more and more people see the film.

YT

the movie is not the Series. Only the facts have been changed, to irritate the innocent; the names of the actors and characters remain the same

So do I. There has been an explosion of activity in General Discussions since the trailer came out. If you think we need a new forum, let Haken know here http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=5&t=9371
