How rough IS the rough cut? (No spoilers please!)

Again... I am looking to remain spoiler free until my wife, my eldest son and I see the preview in Dallas on the 26th. But..

I have heard that this is a rough cut with some unfinished effects in it. How rough is rough? How many scenes lapse into video game quality animation? How much of the music feels like "placeholder"? I am mainly going to see how the 'verse is treating those characters that I came to care about since last I got to see them. But I would hate for that experience to be diluted by being jerked out of the story because of too many potholes in the presentation.

Any comments from the lucky ones who made the first screening?

There's a few CGI bits that could use a wee bit more of a spit-polish, but there's nothing in the rough cut that'll knock you out of the Firefly 'verse while you're watching it.

(Save for Joss's cameo as a belly dancer on Beaumonde.)

Well, thanks. Now I have no reason to not get spoiled. Geez, you'd think people could be more considerate.

Also, Christopher Walken plays the chain-smoking leader of the Reavers. He talks about hot dogs quite a bit.

And it turns out that Book is actually Jubal Early (a result of Early tumbling into a deep-space temporal wormhole a few hours after the events depicted in "Objects in Space".)
