What a great picture!

As I recall, the folks were, from left to right: Shell (her alias? or short for “Shelly”?), Chris, Mal-licious (above), Gonzai (below), some Very Handsome Guy (wearing GLASSES, ThatWeirdGirl, look: GLASSES!), dunno the next guy (sorry), Xenocide with a crab claw, his extraordinarily tolerant wife Paige, Soul of Serenity, and Jazaf.

So, how about posting the picture with Mal, Soul, and myself? Or the one where I’ve got my arm around Mal-licious? That’s the one I have to get Zoid to see!

Heh, heh…

My long-term plan to win Mal-licious’ heart is proceeding nicely!

Oh how I wanted to do that, but I would have been strung up. Don't get me wrong, i did enjoy the movie...it just wasn't very good. Not that that's a bad thing.

Select to view spoiler:

Someone help me out here...I could have sworn, and it's possible I'm wrong, I haven't seen the originals in a while, that Obi didn't know Leia was Luke's sister. AND didn't Luke ask Leia about her mother? Just, you know, curious if I've lost my mind.

All kidding aside, that was prolly the best part of the movie. I felt for old Ben there.

cozen is quite proficient at, how shall we say?, sensual kidnapping. I was having a wonderful time in his comfy chair until TRM and Rat went and rescued me with their Spam guns. Kinda put a damper on the whole thing. And when he was a star cluster he created the Rukus pleasure planet for us to vacation on. That's where I got my Jayne clone. And he's damn funny. If given the chance, let cozen work his magic on you. That's my two cents anyway.

re: Spoilers:

Select to view spoiler:

Obi-Wan, as I recall, never took a stance either way. In fact I seem to recall Obi-Wan leading Luke to the conclusion that Leia was his sister.

As for Leia's memories, she's a Skywalker, child of Anakin. Could her attunement to the force not give her some kind of bond with her mother that Luke might not have shared? I mean, you can see, moreso in Episode II, shades of Leia in Padme, or the other way around. Even if the force connection memories are a stretch, memory is such a strange thing that it is possible that Leia has natal memories of her mother. But I think it's an Alia type scenario. Leia, born with the awesome Skywalker connection to the force had a very primal bond with her mother that gave her fuzzy, pre-natal, geneti-spiritual memories of her mother that Luke never had. Or at least that's my take

As for all you people who say it wasn't that good, you obviously forgot the first law of Star Wars, and the most important. See it through the eyes of a child. Star Wars was meant for kids. Leave the adult sensibilities and logics and thought patterns at the door. Episode III is one of the most powerful pieces of cinema I have ever seen. Star Wars was supposed to be about Anakin, not Luke/Leia/Han. The OT was the story Lucas was able to tell, not the one he wanted to tell.

Star Wars is dead. Long live Star Wars.

So says the Grey Jedi.

Yeah, but little Molly would have a hard time hopping as she's a parrot and all. On second thought, a bird could actually hop pretty well, but scooping up the field mice and boppin' 'em on the head might be a little difficult. Well, I suppose she could scoop 'em with her beak and bop 'em with her wing. That might work.

Thanks to Mai I've had that song in my head all afternoon. And now I'm actually trying to figure out the logistics of the song as it applies to Molly. That's what happens when I try to think on a Saturday.

Yep. MG's got it, Molly's a birdy not a bunny. Technically she could hop, but I think is more likely to fly. Although, perhaps there was a flaw in the cloning process, she does seem to have a slightly fluffy set of feathers... oh well.

*Molly sits on her new bestest friend, Fred's shoulders singing her little heart out*

"...down came the good faerie and the good faire said, little birdy foo-foo, I don't want to see you, snatching up the field mice and beat'n em with your wing. I'll give you 2 more chances, so the next day little birdy foo-foo flying through the faux sereniTree forest..."

Also-Montana, thanks for the complement on the quote. Tis my mantra. Stems from the fact that 99% of the time, people seem to have no idea why I'm doing what I'm doing, but when I'm done it usually ends up being a better and/or more effient way to do..the thing I was doing. But I understand the problem with Shakespeare. Don't get me started on St. Crispin, I can't stop.

"He looked bigger when I couldn't see him."

Ath over comm: "That reminds me of a story, oh darling sister. I seem to remember being tickled by someone until I nearly passed out. Gee, I wonder who that was?"

"Invader's blood marches through my veins like giant radioactive rubber pants. The pants command me! Do not ignore my veins!"

Usually Static, but he's been AWOL lately.

Anyone know what he's up to?

Ratboy - Acquisitions Officer - Uss SereniTREE.

Maybe it's just a...uhh...fisherman out for a cruise. At night. In eel-infested...uhhh...space.

Okay, that one really didn't work so well.

He'll be back soon. Recently moved, end of school year craziness, more time with lovely wifey...he hasn't forgot us, he's just a little busy right now. I'm sure my dashing pilot will be with us soon. I don't think I can sleep by myself anymore.

*looks at friends on big couch*

Mind of I curl up with you folks tonight? I promise not to hog Simon, Serenity.

*twg pulls her feet up and under her legs then balls up into a tiny little figure. she sighs as she rests her head Simon's shoulder*

Thanks.

MONTANAGIRL

Are there pirates in this part of space? Besides us, I mean. Should we be worried about Ath and Rat?

Nah, what am I thinking? They've got Spam guns!

You keep using that word - I do not think it means what you think it means
