It's simply a series of threads where some of our more playful (and verbose) members go to play.

A fantasy world full of hot and cold running chocolate sauce and a place where the sun always shines on teensy lil bikinis.

got it?

hmmmm ... obviously Steve the Pirate has been walking the plank for far too long. We need to teach him to prioritize.

TheRealMe is currently writing a synopsis of all the clubhouse/sereniTREE house threads (I think there are upwards of 20 of them?) which will be released soonish.

Suffice it to say, they are mostly about me.

Mal-licious,

It is always about you!

Emma,

As Knibblet said, the Sereni-Tree is a place where some of us go to exercise our imaginations. It is part of a shared stream-of-consciousness sort of story, where some fairly outrageous things have happened. The current thread, “The S.S. Sereni-Tree’s Homecoming”, is the latest in a direct succession of 23 Clubhouse / Treehouse / Sereni-Tree threads that we’ve been posting for about a year, now. There are about that many additional peripheral threads.

The Sereni-Tree is our starship, currently on its way back to Earth-That-Still-Is after being involved in the destruction of the ski resort planet of Black Diamond. Sadly, we have lost our Chief Engineer, TheGreyJedi, in some kind of space-time singularity when he sacrificed himself to save us from a bunch of asteroid-tossing mecha. Also, we are being pursued by some rather angry Pakleds after Rat tried to get us some food by trading them a mannequin in place of the promised Bride6. Apparently, he didn’t think they would be smart enough to notice that she was made of plastic.

Confusing? Well, I suppose. But it makes perfect sense to me!

Hopefully, all will be explained fairly soon. I plan to start posting a summary thread of all Clubhouse / Treehouse / Sereni-Tree threads by the end of this month.

But for now, you can find TheRealMe’s Guide to the Sereni-Tree toward the top of the previous thread (follow the back-link at the top of the “Homecoming” thread).

You are welcome to join us if you like. We have a large but unnamed crowd of folks that we rescued from Black Diamond. You can be one of those. Or you can come by in your own ship, or pop in using some kind of teleportation.

Knibblet,

By the way, thanks for the many tubes of Knibblet’s Stupendous Sunscreen (TM). It has so far been useful in greatly enhancing the performance of our main fusion plant and in killing a horde of about a billion carnivorous ants.

Oh, and it’s excellent sunscreen, too!

What?

You mean that the chocolate river from Hershey, Pennsylvania has NOT been dug to northern Delaware?

Sorry about that. I turned the river-digging machine over to CageyBee. If she has not dug your chocolate river, then I have no idea where she's been or what she's doing.

AND I'm now out a river-digging machine! Those things don't grow on trees, you know. Well, not in MOST dimensions...

On the other hand, I DID get the orbital weather control lasers working. You should now be experiencing much warmer temperatures than you had been some five or six months ago when I started the project!

Nine Knives for All the Guys to Taste Creme Brulee...

One Thing to Break Their Shells

One Thing to Slurp Them

One Thing to Eat Them Up! Then Satisfied, to Burp Them...

Dig it to Maine people, MAINE.

Come on, I'm sitting here in Portland (South Portland really but no one seems to know where that is for reasons I totally fail to comprehend) surrounded by history.

These buildings are made of brick because the city got burned down so much, so much in fact that most think it was what TJ meant when he said, “he has burned our cities” in the Declaration of Independence.

Those dorms are where the one of the most famous confederate privateers was kept, and speaking of privateers, ever heard of the Dart and the Dash?

This lighthouse was opened by George Washington.

If you go that way you’ll meet George Bush in the summer.

That harbor had a German U boat in it just waiting for the order to attack.

The Church were my sister was married had a sign on the wall saying exactly how many times it was knocked, shot and burned down and by who, also mentioned that the chandelier was made from the cannonball the British used one time to do just that.

This is what is around me, the past, please for the love of god send me some present in the form of a nice waterfall-churned Willy-Wonka style tasty chocolate river.

Quote:

Fine. What dimension do I have to go to get one? And where can I crash the ship I bring it back in? Last time I had a space ship I preformed the first semi-vertical high speed landing of such a craft.

Yeah, but I’d prefer if it was as warm as last month, or even last week.

ChristTheCynic,

States are really pretty small out East. Can't you just wander down to Delaware once we get Mal-licious' chocolate river finished?

It sounds like you are surrounded by lots of cool history that has been knocked down time and time again!

If they're so small why can't you extend it up this way?

Since you mentioned our small states over here, from Maine to Delaware is how far? Looks like it’s about the height of France. Small for someone from Houston were a city is the size of Rhode Island and a state is bigger than France, but over here, where Rhode Island actually is, France seems like a big place.

And I don’t like Paris, not a bit.
(I feel obligated to say that whenever I mention France.)

You must read and memorize some 23 threads, each of which averages 150 - 200 posts in length.

But I would suggest that you don't worry about it! If you just board the Sereni-Tree and go with the flow, you'll be fine!

It would probably help to read the latest one or two threads. In the thread immediately previous to the current "Homecoming" thread ("The Voyage Home"?), I wrote "TheRealMe's Guide to the Sereni-Tree". There is a backlink at the top of the current thread. Also, I plan on posting a summary.

We have just now landed on Earth-that-still-is, at the site of our original clubhouse. Today is our one year aniversary, you see.

In fact, if you like, you could be the new inhabitant of the old clubhouse we abandoned months ago, wanting to know why we are trespassing.

It is indeed, but some people seem incapable of making that connection. Then again some people think Maine is a city in Ohio never realizing that Maine is the reason there was a Missouri Compromise rather than a Missouri Bloody War.

Ah yes, the good old days when we would go to war over a coal dust explosion.

Some people just don’t understand the power of dust, you can take out any building in the greater Portland area with ten pounds of flour, a fan, and a hand grenade. The hand grenade is really going overboard though.

You're worrying about contradicting something in the Treehouse 'verse? *Laughs uncontrollably for a minute. Wipes eyes and continues.* Don't worry about it. You don't even have to have a good reason for getting on board. I just showed up one day with no explanation and planted myself at the bar. If you do something that seems to be contradictory, we'll either let it slide, or TRM can come up with some complex way to make it all fit together. I fall into the let it slide category because it's far less work. Much more fun to just go hang out in the chocolate hot tub. When is that getting put in anyway?
