Yes, Morena Baccarin attended the screening in DC. All I can say it WOW, she is an absolute gem in person. True beauty, true serenity. She graciously was signing handouts for the movie and also signed my TV flyer I bought on Ebay 2 years ago!!! She was sweet, had a smile, and was very happy to hear all any fans had to say.

Per the movie - WOW
Still shaking...its nearly 1 am EST and I have to be up at 6 am for work. Highly doubt I ll get to sleep anytime soon...the adrenaline is still pumping.
It was great to meet such great fans!
Especially, JDarkSun and BayBreeze1 (with daughter and daughter's friend in tow).
Cannot wait to read some more comments as well as get into the spoiler section :)

Ah yes, here 'tis 2:30am and I'm still up, and still wired from the evening's events. I might even have met you, Placidity, I know I met BayBreeze. What a night, what a movie, what a wonderful guest Morena signed the drawing I did of her; she was pretty surprised to see someone who had something specifically of Inara!

Oh yes, and lest I forget - the dancing guys :) They were *so* hi-larious! (2 guys showed up at the theatre hoping to get tickets...and danced up and down the hallway past the line for tickets. They got them. And then danced in front of the screen.) Kudos to you guys, you were a hoot.

Yep - she even brought her mom to the screening. She was nice enough to pose for a picture with me and I was grinning like an idiot.

Loved the movie. That's all I'll say.

Oh yeah. The theater manager said they're having another screening June 9th. Mark your calendars.

OH! I was wondering who those guys were. They cracked me up!

It was such a surprise to see Inara there, a huge bonus. And she is so freakin' nice! Some stars are just so arrogent and stuff that they look down on us, but not Morena! She even let my mom, BayBreeze, get a pic with her.

Movie, so freakin' awesome! We loved it. I will say no more.

It was so great to meet all you fellow Browncoats, to be amoung my kind of people. ^_^ Thanks for making this screening so enjoyable. I love you guys so much! *hugs all the world's Browncoats*

Anyone remember who the company was that hosted the event in DC? Was it Allied PR Firm? Something like that?

Someone who didnt get a ticket posted on the official movie site said they talked to someone there and they plan on more screenings all at the same theater. Likely in two weeks....

Anyone say "online ticket fight" :)
I will be trying to purchase 10 tickets to help people from DC get them, so they dont have to pay $60 like I did to get in...
