Has anyone thouhgt of putting together a Firefly podcast? It could have things like interviews, fan script dramatizations. Does anyone think this would be a cool thing to do?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Companion Kate was talking about doing a Firefly podcast over at FireflyDVD.com:

Podcasts are audio content (usually in MP3 format) distributed via RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds.

Sometimes running is the only thing to do, then again running is tiresome so i tend to shoot my way out a bit to much.

The signal is VERY good. they've had Adam and Gina on as guests, it's brilliant. It's about an hour, and it's very frequent! It's got things such as "how to speak chineese""news from the verse""how to host a shindig""guerilla marketting"and loads more!

Actually, Lhoward who started this thread appears to be Les Howard, 1/2 of "the signal"'s duo.

I, for one, am glad you decided to do it. I've been loving the shows. "I like Chinese"... love it. And I think its great you guys have managed to get those interviews with Adam and Gina.

Thanks very much for the feedback about the podcast!

The entire crew (hosts/writers/editors/voice talent) works very hard to put out the best show possible.

Stay tuned for some more exciting content in the coming weeks.

If you can find the MP3 file on your hard drive you should be able to copy it to a CD using the steps outlined in this document from Microsoft...

Copy Files and Folders to CDs
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/getstarted/copytocds.ms
px

If you can't find the file on your PC then you can use the "Search" command from the "Start" menu to look for files that are named *.mp3. You could also download the file again only this time right click on the MP3 download link on our webpage and choose "Save Link As". This way you can control where the file is saved on your PC so it will easier to find.

Good luck,

Kevin

Alas, that is the problem. When I click on "View" "Download Manager," the files are there. But it won't let me right click to save them to my hard drive.

When I go through my CD burner software, I can't find the files because they are in this folder called "temporary internet files" and I can't find that folder anywhere on my computer.

Normally those files are located here...

C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

where xxxxx is the user name you are logged in as.
