This has been confirmed. At Edwards Jurupa Stadium 14 in Riverside, CA, they will be having one of the Advanced Screenings at 10pm on the 23rd! I JUST talked to the theater and confirmed this rumor is true. Here is the Fandango link:

I called them too and the woman said it's RUMORED to be Serenity, but tehy have no way of knowinf for sure yet unless someone has an inside source. I asked where she heard the rumors from and she said from theater people.

Be careful. The theatre people have been answering calls all week from people about Serenity - there's a 40 odd page topic on the Browncoats forum about screenings.

I can't comment (at all) about what's going on, though.

I'm pretty sure it's safe to say it's true. The event code is apparently the same as other screenings, the date matches with the date we know the next batch will be, and the theater in Riverside has confirmed it for a few people now. :)

I just found out the Riverside, CA show is now sold out. Didn't take long after getting confirmation. I'm thinking of organizing a pre-show shindig. Maybe drinks and or dinner beforehand. Is there an interest in this?

Word is that tickets are suppose to be on sale tomorrow. However, Houston jumped the gun and sold out last week. Riverside wasn't even on the list and sold out within an hour of confirming that it wasn't showing Bewitched. It's possible that fortune favors those who don't wait for official annoumcements.
