We have sold out 65 theatres before Serenity even opens officially on Sept. 30th. If each theatre has 200 seats (give or take) and each ticket sold at $8.75 (that is what the tickets at Albany were selling for)....

....Then the movie has made $113,750 dollars from the screening thus far. I just hope those numbers are added to Opening Weekend numbers on Sept. 30th. That would boost the movie up in the Box office.

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.

Tickets in Denver sell for $9.50, so that ups the numbers a bit. I'm sure there are even more cities that sell ticks for more than that.

From what I have heard, the sales from pre-screenings actually applies to opening weekend sales.

Yes, Chris B. indicated on the OB that the prescreening receipts will be included as part of the opening weekend numbers.
