THERE HAS BEEN NO OFFICIAL WORD ABOUT THE NATIONWIDE RELEASE DATE BEING MOVED IN ONE DIRECTION OR ANOTHER.

THE DISTRIBUTION REP AT UNIVERSAL SUGGESTED THAT IT WAS A VERY GOOD POSSIBILITY. . .MAYBE EVEN A STRONG POSSIBILITY, BUT DID NOT MAKE ANY DEFINITIVE COMMENT.

EVERYONE PLEASE REMAIN CALM.

Whether the release date is moved or not, the important thing is how positive Univeral seem to feel about the project.

BTW whether 'Serenity's release date is moved forward or not, I would like to thank Static for sharing the information...
it is always fun and it livens up the board!

Personally I think having an early release date in even just a few cities is better than these advanced screenings, because I think it would be possible for more people to get to limited release theaters than have been able to buy tickets online to the Advanced Screenings.....

JMPO of course.
