*Emma, Mai and Cozen are sitting outside the door of security with Cozen bashing the door and Mai occasionally whacking Emma to stop her fainting. Meanwhile Nugget has decided to follow them, unfortunately meteor trolls are very stupid and he has brought a number of the Rahjeen Elite Command Force with him.*

If you want to die sooner stay here, if you want to die later come with us

*Cozen turns around and says a very rude word, he moves in front of Mai in a very gentlemanly fashion and pushes Nugget in front of Emma*

You have to get through me first, Cozen says heroically with a menacing glare.

*Emma groans*

Very well *One of the Rahjeen Elite points a very large gun at our four heroes and fires. A large silver net covers all of them, they struggle to get out but can do nothing, they are carried back to Emma's ship where Rat is being held by a number of burly looking REs*

Er, the green portal doesn't work any more, I got stuck here. *Rat looks sheepish*

*The REs set to work disconnecting Emma's Ship from the Sereni-Tree muttering lots of murderous threats and occasionally hitting Rat because he is the only person not in the silver net*

Someone on the El ship, the blue box appears...

Right, it looks like our guys have managed to escape from their cell but we'll need to get them to meet us back here so we can find our way back to the Serenitree safely. We're currently outside their main reactor core so let's try to track the others down and get them to meet us back here as soon as possible. I've set the blue box up so that only friendlies may enter, if you need a place to recuperate, get back there. As soon as everyone's in, we'll throw a few hundred kilos of explosives into the core and get out of here.

Okay, I think I'm going to go in .... this direction.

JAZAF

After having his snack Jazaf consults his map.
'Man, Mai put everything in here! Now let's see....If I wanna find trouble the best place would probably be wherever they docked Emma's ship.' Jazaf scans through a few files before he finds what he's looking for.

'Ah ha! There it is.' Jazaf studies the map quickly then rushes to the Airlock using a few hardly used paths. He arrives in time to watch the capture of Cozen, Mai, Emma, and some extremly odd-looking beast.

Jazaf waits until the Elites take the captives inside the ship. Quietly walking to the entry hatch, Jazaf takes a look inside.
'Huh...How'd Rat get in there?'

Noticing that there are at least five Elites in a seemingly small space Jazaf decides to take his chances and dashes in, with his last seltzer bottle filled with pepsimilk in hand.

One of the Elites spots him before he gets far and fires a shot. Jazaf tries to leap over the projectile but it catches him in the leg, knocking him off balance and crashing to the floor. The hot alerts the other Elites and they move to surround Jazaf.

'Well, this could be worse' Jazaf mutters to himself. Jazaf backs to a corner opposite the captives and draws his Katana as the Elites close in for the kill. Lightning quick, Jazaf leaps for the floor, spinning and landing on his back, the momentum sliding him underneath and beyond his would-be captors. Jazaf jumps onto the back of one elite and drives his katana through it's head. While pulling his katana free, Jazaf grabs a pistol from the elites holster and fires into the Elite to his right. Falling with the body of the elite, Jazaf rolls onto the floor an gets up to meet the three remaining elites.

The elites don't want to damage the ship so they use their larger guns as melee weapons and walk menacingly towards Jazaf. Jazaf fires a few rounds into the legs of the elites then dashes in to finish the job.

'Thanks for the map Mai. It was a big help.' Jazaf says as he frees the captives.'Oh and here Cozen I think you could use this.' Jazaf hands Cozen the gun.

'I'm gonna head out and see if there are anymore of these elites left. Who knows, maybe Grey hasn't slaughtered all of'em yet.'

Somewhere on the Sereni-Tree...

Jazaf stalks the corridors for any EIs. After a few minutes he spots a trio turning a corner. Drawing his katana, Jazaf walks toward them. For reasons unknown to him the EIs suddenly jerk their head to the right, as if hit by some object. He watches as their movements become unsure. The EIs drop their weapons and begin to run down the hall. Jazaf follows them wondering where they could be going.

After chasing the EIs through several hallways, Jazaf hears a series of odd sounds and a bright green flash. Jazaf turns the corner and hears nothing. 'That's odd. Where could they have gone?' He takes a cautious look around and notices a faint gren glow coming from one of the rooms. Ignoring everything he ever learned from horror flicks, Jazaf decides to check it out alone.

In the room Jazaf sees a large green oval floating in the middle of the room. Jazaf just stares at it for a few moments, then the oval begins to shrink. Jazaf continues to watch as the oval blinks out of existence, leaving him to scratch the back of his head.'Now what the good gorram was that?'

I'm afraid my box has no weapon systems of any kind. However...

This bag of explosives should do nicely. Now, I can either set it to detonate 30 seconds after it hits the bottom of the power generator shaft, giving whoever drops it only just enough time to get back here and leave or I can hardwire the timer to 10 minutes from now - a deadline neither the El's nor myself will be able to change.

So my real question is... are we in Act 3: The Ticking Clock yet?

*emerges from whatever dark corner he was in, black pants, knee-high weathered black boots, a simple black t-shirt, black belt, single black leather wrist band on his left arm. He carries over his shoulder a single, somewhat large, deep midnight purpledy-blue six string. Carried on the other shoulder is a clearly oversized amp. He flips the amp off his shoulder. It slams onto the deck, causing a noticable impact tremor. The EIs that had been slowly creeping forward towards the living heart of SereniTREE stop, looking on in bewilderment. Not looking up, Grey turns the dial up to 10. Then pushes the nob, an audible snap as it goes just about to where 11 would be. He plugs the cord into the amp, a very noticable hum of electricity flows from the amp. He throws his head back, his hair clearing from his face. Grasping the neck in his right hand, he finds his minor chord. Flipping a luminescent white pick from nowhere, he reaches up. His left hand hangs in the air as the EIs come closer, closer. The one in front reaches for his left foot atop the amp. Right before the EI can grab the foot, his arm falls, the heavy Left Hand of God, striking the Chord of Wrath. A powerful minor chord fills the air, humming across the interior of the hull. The EIs, being evil, collapse and crumble into small squishy bits that burn away like paper in a fire in the face of the Holy Chord. Grey smiles madly.*
