Okay, here's the scoop....

Theater opens at 11:30AM, there is NO other movie scheduled for the particular screen that Serenity is showing on for the rest of the day, but we can't go in to get seats until shortly before. However, we are allowed to enter anytime after 11:30 and sit outside (in the theater, however, not out in the sun) and wait. I'll pass on pulling a SW thing until later that day...ya'll are welcome to do as you wish.

FOOD! Logan's Roadhouse looks pretty good -- prices are middlin', not as high as Longhorn, more like Roadhouse or Lone Star -- it's kind of a "peanut shells on the floor" kind of place, but we DO have a private room which holds up to 50, which we can have from 4-7pm or until someone else needs it. Right now, we're the only group scheduled. Enter, hang a left past the bar, you'll see it up the little stairs. Reservations under "Browncoats".

I'm planning on going back over to the theater between 7-8 for line up, depending on how the line seems to be doing. Feel free to join us at Logan's no matter when you get in, or just come on over to the theater.

The banner is ordered (thanks for donations!!!), and will be done tomorrow.

If any one is coming in from out of town, there is a Hampton Inn on Waters Ave., about 1/2 mi from the theater, just down the road a bit. That seems to be the closest place to stay.

Just spoke to Amanda at the theater, and they will start lining people up in the lobby - they open at 11:30am and when the line starts they will rope it off. I asked if we could bring food and chairs and they said yes - folding chairs and food is fine.
She said there seems to be a HUGE fanbase for this movie, and they're ready for us.

Sounds fantastic! Finally some affirmation!

Screening is at 10PM, and yes, there are at least 4-5 people I know of coming from Orlando, probably more that I don't know.
