Hey all. I just wanted to say that I finally saw the trailer for SERENITY in the theatres in front of GEORGE A. ROMERO'S LAND OF THE DEAD. It was a real surprise for me to see the trailer finally (and in front of an appropriate 'Versal flick).

I gotta say, it looks better on a big screen than it does on a computer monitor. I was afraid that the way the projector was set up that a lot of detail that was in the trailer would be cropped out, but it fit on the screen nicely.

I couldn't really tell what the response to the trailer was. I threw in a "booyeah" at the beginning, though. I got a good vibe afterwards.

And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like ... ow ... ound ... round ... ground! That's it! That's a good name - ground! I wonder if it will be friends with me?

Yep I saw the Serenity trailer before Batman and Land of the Dead. the land of the dead crowd was more animated then the batman crowded and i heard one guy in the back go "oooh sh*t!" when Mal shot first. even my friend who i went with, who can't stand buffy or angel and has never seen firefly, responded with "word" when i asked him if he thought the trailer seemed cool.
