If each character had an iPod, what would they listen to?

Here's another "what if" thread that popped into my mind today.

Picture this. SERENITY got a legal job transporting electronics to one of the more middle class planets. As part of the deal, each of the crew gets their own individual iPod or the 500 years in the future equivalent of one.

My question is, what kind of music would each of them have on it to listen too.

To get the ball rolling, I think that Kaylee would have stuff like Shania Twain, Sarah Evans, Dixie Chicks, just about every country song ever recorded. I always thought that Kaylee was a country gal. Heck, if they ever do a bio-pic of Shania, Jewel could probably do it easily.

Jayne would have Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne, naturally. Wash is a classic rock kinda guy, and I think Nina Simone would be coursing through Zoe's ears. As for Simon, I think it would be soft rock, but not the soft rock that they play on soft rock stations. Stuff like Coldplay, Oasis, The Beatles. Nothing too bombastic. Something soothing.

So what do you guys think?

And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like ... ow ... ound ... round ... ground! That's it! That's a good name - ground! I wonder if it will be friends with me?

Guys, Jayne is hardcore. He'd be listening to stuff like Pantera and Black Label Society. Can you imagine him in a mosh pit at Ozzfest?

Kaylee did have an iPod once. All it played was Tracey's message, over and over again.

That's one crappy iPod.
