OMG, I had the exact same thought, disappointment then hope. You'd have to make the chocolate egg really chunky to keep the proportions right but mmmmmmmmmm. You could dip your hand in, break a piece of chocolate off and consume (or for extra fun, use someone else's hand).

I used to also love Sara Lee Double Chocolate Gateux. They were so tasty too.
