There is a preview of the second issue of the comic book available at:

http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/preview.php?theid=10-756

WARNING: It has a HUGE spoiler for the comic series (NOT the movie). I mean, a jaw-dropping surprise. I can't wait until it comes out.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I like the story summary.

I didn't expect it in the comic series, but I am less surprised.

After all, I believe they mentioned in a couple of the DVD commentary tracks that they would be working with that particular actor again.

Man... every time anything new in the Firefly 'verse comes out, I'm reminded that we should have had another 6 1/2 seasons of this... And then I spend the next 15 minutes thinking of all the horrible things I would do to the people responsible for canceling Firefly if I ever met them.

Actually, Nathan said in the commentary for the pilot episode that he had hoped to work with Carlos (who played Dobson) again. Then Joss said..."yes...but not so much."

Jayne, your mouth is talkin. Might want to look into that.

Carlos is one of only five actors to have appeared in all three Joss TV series. Pretty small club.

You're probably right Shiney.

I can't check right now as both of my DVD sets are loaned out right now.

Wow, this one will be difficult for me to get...Book or Kaley. And hell, I'm a big Jo Chen Fan, but god the detail on Book! *__* Lol it pains me to appreciate BOTH processes.
And you know, I wouldnt be surprised if I bought both...but I'd do with either and a pic for the other.
