Just stoped by my local comic shop (I still have one, how cool) and asked when my Serenity order would be in. To my surprise he expects to be getting in issue 1 this comeing wednesday. So to anywho waiting who didn't know, look for this week at your local comic shop.

Good! I have some on order online. If they come in early, I'll have them to read in line at comicon.

I called around to my local comic stores in the phone book, and was told to call back around the end of July, that they don't expect to get them in until August! Both stores I talked to last week said that they had ordered them about a month ago, but it usually takes a couple of months before they get them.

Have other people gotten this kind of response?

I'm really hoping to get them when they come out, rather than a month later, but I know nothing about how comics work, distribution-wise.

Out of curiousity, do live in a significant metropolitan or in a rural area?

Diamond's final shipping list for this week (which hasn't been officially posted yet as I write this but you can find if you're clever) lists the Serenity comics as coming out this week, so they should be in most US and Canadian stores on Wednesday.

When are you getting it? Fff.n says Dark Horse has just delayed release a week. It isn't listed anywhere on your upcoming list. Do you not carry Dark Horse comix?

Well, I managed to walk into one of the stores today, and they said they should have the comic in Wednesday, after all! I guess they just didn't expect that last week...

Maybe it's because everybody already bought it out. My comic store already sold out after an hour of being open to the public. If I hadn't had it on folder, I would've been screwed.

Comic Cellar (Monrovia): Sold out of Mal, some Jayne & Inara. No Global Frequency
Toy Mandala: Sold out of all covers
Continental Comics: Sold out of all covers
