Quote:First of all, the first two screenings sold out pretty damn quickly. Over 40,000 people tried to secure tickets online. EIFF say: "After the extraordinary demand for the World Premiere and debut feature from director (and Buffy creator) Joss Whedon?s new film Serenity, Edinburgh International Film Festival and distributor UIP reacted immediately today by arranging two more screenings. Keen not to disappoint the fans EIFF Artistic Director Shane Danielsen said: “When we get such a clear signal from the fans that they’re so passionate about a particular film, we’re more than happy, wherever we can, to make additional screenings possible.” The first new screening will be a matinee on Wednesday 23rd August . The second screening will be part of the Festival’s Best of the Fest line-up on Sunday 28th August.
