Wait, are you saying the Love Doctor isn't a fully trained medical practioner? Then what was with the rectal probing?

Is it just me or does Summer strike you as someone who dots their i's with a little heart? I'd bet she did when she was a child at least.

CONGRATULATIONS!! I am so chuffed for both of you, and I'm looking forward to seeing you in Serenity²!

And rectol probe?

Anyway, I think your probably right about Summer...I mean, none of the I's on the messages she sent me had hearts on, but maybe she was in a hurry.

Congratulations Carol! Very good news. I read that link you provided about Chloe and I have to wonder why on earth they would drop support in the first place. I think that bit of the system is seriously messed up. Anyway, congrats again.

Emma, thank you! Please call me "Greek" - or Toomey. ("Greektome" just reads wrong, sorry if I'm being hypersensitive.)

I don't know how to stand upside down; can I just think about being upside down? And can I drink a medium glass of scotch in honor of Mr. Doohan? And what size Bounty must I eat?

I do try to please.

Edit: Forgot your questions! *smacks self* I am a fandom n00b, based in the Capitol Hill outpost of the planet Seattle.

Today it is my turn to be the mastermind (mwahahahaha)

1) Fray is out today but will be back tomorrow
2) Greek, you may drink Scotch in honour of Mr Doohan (I shall join you) but I am afraid you must still stand on your head you can choose any size Bounty you prefer (milk or plain is fine).
3) Summer is far too grown up to use hearts for dots, I am sure she uses smileys (just like I have been known to *cough*)
4) Rectal probes are only to be used by Love Doctors

Oh and Carol...

Congratulations...Congratulations and Jubilations

Yes, ma'am. I will endeavor to do my utmost, though I am not sure whether Bounty is sold here in the States. I will check in the grocery store on my way home. (You speak of the coconut-chocolate bar, I gather?)

If it is not available here, perhaps you might be convinced to introduce me to this fine delicacy when I visit Amsterdam in October?

Ooooh, a visit, but of course. Bountys are indeed the coconut bar covered in chocolate (yummy) and it is indeed possible to buy them in Amsterdam! What are you visiting this lowland for and can we not convince you to rearrange for November and combine it with a UK convention?

I like being called ma'am and the gift of apples, I think I shall come to expect this. I also expect everyone to ask for permission when they go to the toilet...ok that is a lie, I expect SimonWho to ask (awww, I am picking on you again... do say if I upset you at all Dr Probe)

And no, this isn't a Man With Pez scenario.

From 23 September to 10 October, I will be visiting England, Ireland, Scotland, Amsterdam, and Prague. The occasion? On 27 September, the sun will be the same in a relative way, but I will be older (34!), shorter of breath, and one day closer to death.

I wish, I wish, I wish I could change the dates, and go to a convention, but my finances and my paid holidays are limited. *small sad* I've never been to a con!

Hopefully some browncoats will be in the aforementioned locations during my visit. When I know which days I will be in which locations, I shall start a thread.

Most of my time in England will be in London, but I will probably make one-day trips to Manchester and Brighton. Two days in Dublin, a day in Aberdeen, a day in the Highlands (probably including a night in Inverness), and a day in the Hebrides.

Hello.....!

OK, catch up time:

Carol - congrats & hugs!

Jaina - we need more rutting man-holes!

PR - whilst Science is incredibly annoying, Orlaith has to go because then Makosi will have noone left to plot with.

Hugs & Welcomes to everyone else!

Was out until 7pm yesterday - obviously first thing I had to do when I got back was download the trailer and I agree with PR - where's Book??! Shiny trailer though (I do actually mean that, but would say it anyway as I am one of those people who doesn't like the new poster & has therefore been mocked by Nathan...)

Right, should really do some work now. Was late in anyway as went to hospital to have the longest ever blood-test & then, ahem, popped into an employment agency...!

Jaina, you so don't want me to sing. I love to but have the worst voice in the world

Greek, I am sure I can meet you somewhere for a shindig (mini or otherwise)

Cozen, awwww, such a lovely poem. I may print it and pin it on my wall

Dr Probe, did you ask for permission to go? No, you are a naughty boy... if only we were still allowed to use the cane...

On a different note I need tea and sympathy I have had the shittest day. I am not getting paid until 27th August by which time I will have been working for 9 weeks! I have 20 euros left and will have to get myself into more debt just to live. Bastards - they were meant to have sorted it out but they cocked up in many ways (long boring story). Plus, I can't hear myself think or open the windows because of the sodding building works going on (we can't even use our post-box and one of our fire-escapes is closed down). Plus, we have to move and found a lovely flat but it was offered to someone else. Flats to rent are so rare here you have to see them at the same time as 10 other couples! Oh, and I have no food in the house and no money to buy any.

I am fed up

I think you'll find Emma takes vodka in her tea...just leave out the tea and add a sprinkling of chocolate instead of sugar.

Whilst we're inflating Jaina's ego, have to say that half my wallpapers only exist because of her site.

GREEKTOOMEY

Mayo? Ack, that just sounds awful.

No, my brand of "special" involves a different ingredient, albeit one which also starts with 'ma'. (And part of the reason I've included Amsterdam on my European holiday.) I'm a traditionalist, what can I say?

Where's the "falls over in shock" emoticon???

(I need that one, as well as the "shakes head in despair" one). Oh Em, sending you lots of chocolate scented hugs...

EMMA

I believe we are up to 100 posts already - madness!

Greek, not sure if you understood me. I know of what you refer I was being silly (although mayo in chocolate cake is excellent). Amsterdam sucks satans *ahem*, try Utrecht instead. I suppose if you are coming this far Amsterdam would make sense. How long are you staying for?

Fray, I need the 'crys like a baby', 'shock' and 'jump for joy' emoticons. Some people on this board seem able to get more than the standard fff list but I don't know how. I am hungry.
