Hey, any publicity is good publicity. Maybe this is one of the reasons FOX pulled the plug, although I can't imagine the people at FOX having any kind of moral scruples when they're running shows like "Who wants to marry a midget?" and "Who's your daddy?"

Lol, what newbs!

You don't need to complain about a F*X show, it's 100% guarunteed.... to be canceled.

/sarcasm off

Well, I dunno, I remember that ep, and there was a warning about -sexual content- as well as the usual graphic violence so um... shouldnt the kids who dont wanna see it... um... not watch it?

On the bright side, maybe this will make F*X keep the inside! because, if the show gives you a fine and puts you in a legal battle, you have to keep it! (I suspect that is how F*X thinks... why not?)

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Sounds to me like a bunch of parents that don't check out what their kids are watching until after the fact or halfway through. Me personally I check those things out before my kids watch. It's called be a responsible parent. Maybe these people should look into that term.

As for whether or not this was a reason that Fox pulled the plug or not, I doubt it. Their so called "reality" shows get racier than "The Inside".

Yeah. I completely agree. It's not up to the studios to watch people's kids, it's up to the parents.

I could be wrong, but isn't the Inside still on? It is on my Tivo schedule for Wednesday night. "The VCU team tracks a killer who may be trying to replace the child she lost when a number of pregnant women are found murdered with their unborn babies missing."

Actually, I read on Ain't It Cool News.com that The Inside wasn't airing this coming week. It's supposed to come back the week after next. But then again, who really knows until it's actually on?!?!

"This episode will fill young minds with horrific images and warped views about sexuality and human relationships, said L. Brent Bozell, president of the PTC."

Well that sure sounds like this person is deciding what is and isn't proper sexuality and human relationships. Sounds like someone needs to be a bit more accepting of others.

Shouldn't they be more concerned on actual violent and sexual content than fictional? Also, those Vchip commericals aren't being aired for nothing.

Parents should be knowing what their child watches and preventing them to watch shows that wouldn't be approciate for them. Granted my parents still do in a way and I'm 23! Yea, so no watching South Park while conversating with my mom.

Frankly, as i said before, that ep clearly stated at the begining that it had violent and sexual content, and that parent discretion was advised.

I think these people are looking for a scapegoat, but really they should blame the people who say that those messages about parental discretion at the start of a nastier show are good enough. I dont think they are, myself, because it says 'parental discretion advised' and then promptly goes into the most gory part of the episode, usually. So, i think there is something wrong, but it is not 'the inside''s fault.

I remember back when "War Stories" first aired, people posted on this very site complaining about the episode's violent content: "I was so offended. I'll never watch the show again. Blah blah blah."

People will complain about absoultely anything, like those nuts that try to get Harry Potter banned because they think it promotes Satanism. It's not about morals or decency. It's about imposing their will on others, because simply changing the channel is far too simple.

The people complaining about The Inside are in fact the same people who complained about the Angel episode, Destiny because "you could see his hips moving."

No lie.

Parents shouldn't have to record and check everything before letting their children watch it and you can't depend on a warning at the start because some people will turn the TV on late and miss it.

In the UK we have a simple rule called the 9pm watershed. Anything unsuitable for children is shown after 9pm. Of course there is always a debate about what is unsuitable, but it works pretty well. Funnily enough one of the most complained about pre-watershed programmes was when Casualty said (Spoiler for your childhood innocence):

Select to view spoiler:

Father Christmas doesn't exist!

Of course, I can't comment on the specific programme as I haven't seen it.

But then, I would hope that no broadcaster in the UK would consider using anything as tasteless as The Inside. Surely our appetites aren't yet that jaded, our imaginations so numb, the fear of our neighbours as apparent.

Apparently not.

These people offend me. I find the general publics' lack of personal responsibilty disturbing.
