I think I can help you all. We stock chocolate covered pretzels at my work. I love them! Of course, they are easy to make on your own, if you'd like I can pass along a family recipe.

Now, for the prunes…I don't go for them chocolate covered, but I think I may try it now that I've heard that they're yummy. We have delicious stuffed prunes. Filled with cream cheese and nuts…perhaps I'll send that recipe to you too.

I'm headin out with my camera today. I have to get back into practice because I'm next on the WorldWideWig project. So exciting! It made the BBC this week in pictures when it was in Edinburgh (that was back in April). Cya!

You know, the cricket as in the game you play with balls, bails and stumps? England are playing Australia in a series of test matches called The Ashes. They're the biggest games in cricket and England keep losing at them but this time, we thought we had a decent chance, except we're about to lose the first test.

I think every Englander should take any visiting foreign national to a cricket match, if only to see their reaction to the fact that the 3 hours of that very slow moving game was just the first session and that the match will continue for another four and a half days.

Cricket is awful, I used to live with a Pakistani guy and he was obsessed with it. That and current affairs programmes were the only tv he watched. Cricket, bah humbug

It's been a quiet if damp Sunday over here. Lots of lay-in = gooood.

I've ordered myself an Abbyshot Browncoat. The sizes are a bit freaky, so hopefully I picked one that'll actually vaguely fit. May have to get it adjusted otherwise.

Yep - only "inconvenience" was having bags searched a couple of times! My (Mal) Serenity comic was in one of the bags so just as well nobody actually did a "proper" search or it might have got damaged!

Sigh, no MTV for me so no trailer. But speaking of which, someone at the UB has called the caps on my site "small" and "bad quality." So I would appreciate you guys taking a peek for me - if they're really so awful I'll get rid of them all and save myself a whole lotta webspace! Well, whilst I agree with the "meh" (!) I am genuinely interested in people's opinions. No point wasting my webspace if people don't think the caps are worth looking at - I can fill it up with more wallpaper instead!

Hey, I didn't expect to encounter Alan at whatever time it was last night, but there he was....albeit briefly.

Still tempted by Memorabilia - just been looking at the train fare which isn't too bad. And never mind the Firefly table - Dirk Benedict, love of my teenage life, will be there! Just a bit of a way to go by myself...

Had a look at the site, they all look good quality to me. He did work out that you could click on them to get a large image, didn't he?

It's quite surprising the number of people who will happily insult any endeavour without any due cause. Best bet is just to say "meh" in their specific direction.

Thanks everyone - "meh" all round. I'm not normally fussed about constructive criticism but I fail to see the point of someone just posting to say "why do these look so bad?" (which IMO they don't anyway, particularly given that the new trailer isn't that great quality anyway).

Noone's being charged to look at them...

Birmingham...ah, there are just certain obstacles in my way & I'm not sure whether they can all be overcome...! I shall look into it a bit more, but at the moment it's more likely I won't go, if I do I won't be able to make the Shindig.

Oh, I like basking!

Thanks Fray, that's really cool, I hadn't seen that thread. Praise from gossi is especially good. The weird thing is that even though those posters took hours (yes it took hours to make Nathan look that bad), I'm most pleased with the fanfic I wrote, despite it being a complete lift from someone else with only one word replaced.

So who am I supposed to hate in Big Brother this year? I watched the first year avidly with a bunch of friends but after that it just lost all interest for me. It's like that experiment with the guards and the prisoners; once they know the results of the initial experiment, they're not going to act in a genuine way. I just need to know so I can tell my sister "Yeah, isn't _______ awful?" and she won't think I'm a total snob.

Despite my constant mentions of it I've hardly watched Big B these past couple of weeks - possibly because they're all such dreadful human beings!

Gather the bland "I'm not gay" Anthony is favourite although I cling to the hope that Derek or Kemal will win - they're bitches, but at least they're bitches with brains!

secondly - TWG, a new picture would be fabby and for the sheer pleasure of being looked at with amazement I am sure we would all share TWG carrying duties at S2 (if you can get it here, maybe it could be sent to all conventions, like the travelling gnomes)? thirdly - try the following which I had as pudding on Saturday (followed by too many mojitos - if that is possible):
A banana
A few scoops of caramel/toffee/butterscotch or some other ice cream
Milk (full-fat, none of this namby-pamby semi-skimmed)

Whisk in a blender and drink - fantastic!
