LOL!! oops I pushed the enter button and sent off ... nothing. sorry bout that.

What I was going to say was can anyone feel the community's anticipation of Serenity? I liken it to the precursive subsonic rumblings of an earthquake.

Something big is coming!

I really hope this movie KICKS ASS at the box office.

I feel it like the surging tide. I walk around with this anticipation of something huge coming and I give a knowing half-smile. Others will come up to me and ask if I saw this show on Sci-Fi called Firefly, or someone sends me a link to the trailer.

Its coming to fruition and I feel like I am in on the joke, while the others are still figuring it out. I have the answer key. I know.

Something Big this way comes, and I am ready. Again, I smile the little knowing smile. The feeling is ever present. Its coming. I know.

Yep! I saw how many days were left and suddenly it's not such an abstract figure anymore.... It's within reach. Hurrah!

And so far I've managed to avoid the trailer and any subsequent imagery from the film. I'm hoping this'll carry on until the moment I park my butt in the cinema and the credits unfold.

I feel very much the same. Firefly is pretty much unheard of here in Australia. It only recently first aired here but at a timeslot of 1am (in the wee hours of the morning).

Yes, it is a great feeling, isn't it? I walked into a class the other night for an exam, and one of my friends (who I hadn't seen in several weeks -- she takes the class in person, I take it distance), said "did you see they're running Firefly on SciFi?" and I just did a little grin and stared at her...she said "Oh, yeah...of course YOU'D know that..."

It feels good to be on the "inside" of something and watching others come into the fold...someday we'll be saying things like "I was Browncoat before Browncoat was cool"!

It's like somebody pushed a big red button and we all got the message to come home. Its wonderful, exciting, and magical.

Can't wait to see it with all the Browcoats I converted in college.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

It certainly is a great feeling. I know I have a big old grin on my face every time I read an article, see a commercial on Sci Fi, or hear someone talk about the movie coming out in September.

I feel vindicated too. You know so many of us have been here since the series aired in '02. We went through so much to get where we are now. We endured so many trolls telling us to throw in the towel, yet we held on & look where it got us. Just makes you want to flip the ol' one finger salute to all those naysayers.

I may never lose this grin.

Heh heh. I hoped someone would take the bait. However, I must elaborate. After seeing a screening, and seeing how long I had to wait to see the BDM for 'real', I sorta took a mental break from counting off the days. Granted, I'm watching FF on SciFi channel, even though I have the DVDs. I'm trying to be low key now, because I know as the premier arrives, I know I'll be near ecstatic. I'm wondering when the posters will start showing up at theatres. As of last Sunday, I've not seen any yet Soon, very very soon......

Yep, I'm getting the feeling too. Can't wait to read every article (I've got Serenity on Google alert!)

At the 5/5/05 screening I still was wondering if others would "get" it. Now since I've read so many reviews by people where were no Firefly fans, I beleive it will work for everyone, young and old.

I smell, hot new franchise!

I can definitely feel it! Just look at the layout of my blogspot page. :) I definitely will want a Serenity movie poster for my classroom! :D My kids know what I'm into. But we must remember that this hasn't been the best year in Hollywood. Serenity as #1 opening weekend would rock, but I'd be happy with a top 5 showing!

Anyone have plans on getting people to see Serenity. When it gets a bit closer I am going to try real hard to get some phone/air time on morning radio and give Serenity / Firefly one ALMIGHTY plug.

Cause remember "you cant stop the signal"

Yeah we all feel it. I'll really feel it when it gets to 30 days left. That's when the impatience and anticipation will build and build with each day we get closer to 1.

On September 30th the entire Browncoat Nation will have this collective "I can't believe it's finally here" feeling and seismographic readings will spike.

Is anybody going to be able to sleep on September 29th?

By the way, Wendy & Lisa (of Prince and the Revolution fame) have a song called "Reaching One" and the title refers to a countdown of days It's very fitting 'cause that's what we're doing--reaching one.
