Well a while back I posted a silly questionaire as a means to familiarize myself with fellow browncoats. And for me it was a lot of fun. So thanks.

I don't know if you remember but my last question was wether or not I should ask out a girl I liked called Jude. (To which many of you commented that her name doesn’t sound like a girls name) but after getting past this, the majority of you suggested, yes go for it.

So I did.

Now while I’m sure none of you are eagerly waiting the outcome of my romantic endeavours, I did at the time promise that were I to ask her out I would let you know. Now being as how I always like to keep a promise, below I have included in dialogue form the general gist of how things went.

Ric (that’s me)
Say Jude, you wanna get together sometime, maybe catch a show or go see the Cirque Du Soleil with me?

Jude
Wow! That sounds like a splendid idea Ric, what a sweet thing to think of. You are sweet....

Ric (To himself)
Yes! Mental highfives all round!!! Woohooo.

Jude (CONT).
....But No. I’m not interested.

*Insert audio of plane crashing and burning.*
Ric picks up the pieces and exits stage left.
*cue laughter*

The End.

"Hey - you wanna play with the big dogs you gotta learn to pee in the tall grass right?"

Even if things didn't work out the way you wanted, at least you got the courage and spoke to her about it! At least you won't be left wondering about what if's and maybe's!

That's a pity. Although she did seem to change her mind mid answer. Are you sure that you did all the Yahoo! noises to yourself and not out loud?

Anyway, nothing ventured...

Brutal...sure she wasn't using her feminine wiles on ya? Dunno why she would say it's a splendid idea if she weren't interested in the first place...

Jayne, your mouth is talkin. Might want to look into that.

Thanks Majorclod. Yeah I'm always of the belief you have to say something if you feel it, otherwise why invest the time in the emotions.

Fact is the anticipation kept me feeling alive for a while there... It's all good fun.

yeah I know. Jayne's counsel isn't of much help when you're in that situation ("Jayne's a girl's name" after all)

Damn women, why must we yearn for them? They ain't nothing but a distraction from all the killing and robbing.
