A BBQ in November????

Crazy talk....(although I notice at the UB that some people have been talking about a Serenity 2 picnic - also insane).

(BTW, apologies for my previous misunderstanding - I assumed from your earlier post that you actually knew Carol (aka SP), hence my query about the Shindig(ing!). Have now found your post introducing yourself and all is clear...you were just sent here by the crazy lady!).

How did this little get-together get so (potentially) big?! We should be being good Browncoats and encourage everyone to go to Memorabilia (note spelling...) instead! (NEC, 13th/14th August, table sponsored by UIP - please support!)

Well, 14th August I should be able to make I think, have to check with girlfriend to see if I'm forgetting something (I normally am...)

Anyway, me I'm 19, male, studying Physics with Space Science at Southampton University, I went To Watford Boys Grammar School, I disicovered Firefly mainly by accident. Firstly a friend told me it waqs cool, but he was really into Buffy (which I wasn't sure about) so I didn'tm really follow it up, then my girlfriend saw it and said it was cool, and then finally one of my other friends started going on about it to me so i borrowed the DVDs and ended up watching the entire series in 2 days, and still tend to watch at least three episodes a week...

If you want to know anything else let me know!

It's shame you can't make Serenity 2 (although completely understandable - hate to think how much I'll end up spending!) but am sure there will be future get-togethers. Maybe we can meet for a meal in London or something, or a big outing when the film's finally released?

(We already have PR dressing up - one weirdo, sorry, dedicated fan, is enough, surely? Of course he'll probably dress up as River...)

I did Physics With Astronomy at university, many moons ago now. Not once did I get to look through the telescope... which was a bit rubbish of them, I must say.

So now I have a BSc... which, in reverse to Arnold Rimmer, I refer to as a bronze swimming certificate (unlike Arnie J who used to say his bronze swimming certificate was a BSc and put BSc after his name)... because it's been about as much use to me as a swimming certificate would be.
