Howdy all,

Just wondering how many fans are in the Houston area, and if anyone would be interested in getting together for the premier of Serenity. We have a pretty cool theatre here on the SW side of town if yall never heard of the Alamo drafthouse, every other row of seats is a table and they serve food and drinks(inc beer and wine).In any case if enough local browncoats are interested i'll check with the theatre to make sure they'll have the movie and mabye even see if we could get the whole theatre to ourselves.

I know the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin is trying to work out something with Universal to do a special event for the premier, but nothing's nailed down. Maybe if it happens, they'll do something at the Houston branch, too.

We're the "Bayou City Browncoats, there's about 60 or so people signed up, an we usually get together about once a month. You should join us, we always have a blast!

And just incase ya didn't know, there's gonna be a Lonestar Shindig August 5-7th in Austin,

Saturday: 10ish- noon breakfast in the hotel suite
noon - 3pm Lunch at China Star
