I was checking Google news for any references to "Serenity" (it's something I do! Can't imagine why...) and was directed to a page at JoBlo dot com ( http://www.joblo.com/index.php?id=8187, a short blurb, a picture and a trailer spoiler), which in turn has a link to blackfilm dot com and an interview with Gina ( http://www.blackfilm.com/20050729/features/ginatorres1.shtml). One or two possible minor spoilers and some stills from the BDM. It's nice to hear from her, and about her upcoming projects. Thought I'd pass it along.

Good interview - sad thing were the many typos (basically not running a spellchecker before publishing it) and the fact that Gina played Harold Perrineau's SISTER-IN-LAW in the "Matrix" movies (Harold's character was married to Zee, originally played by Aaliyah and then replaced by Nona Gaye). Other than that, good interview...

I NEVER knew Gina was married to Laurence Fishburn. I LOVE Laurence, he is THE MAN. They should put him in Firefly.

Anyway's yeah, good interview. I love Gina, in Firefly and ALIAS, which no one ever seems to talk about. She was great in ALIAS.
