And secondly, I did not post the files, just reporting the info for those interested

If you know how to access newsgroups, you should checkout alt.binaries.multimedia.scifi - posted on the 1st of August is the full set of files which comprise the Preview DVD.

This is great for those with access and can`t get the DVD.

btw, you will need a DVD burner or at the least a video player that handles .vob files (otherwise you won`t be able to see).

D'oh! My ISP only has three days retention on binary newsgroups. We've got all the stuff from the 2nd of August but only one post from the 1st!

BUT since someone has posted it in the newsgroups, I checked the torrent sites since it's easy to get on BitTorrent once you've got a digital copy. Sure enough, it's been posted on torrentspy.com - but no seeds! Oh well, I can always get an easynews account for a month. Thanks for the heads-up, Zol! We couldn't get it here in Canada and I've been really hoping to find it.

Giganews offers the 1st month free - but they have massive retention - so make sure you only donwload 1000 threads at a time

The 100 meg torrent at torrentspy has several seeds running, even if it doesn't show it on the site. I'd say go ahead and give it a shot.

I couldn't get the torrent from torrentspy to work at all yesterday - it just kept giving me error messages. Is it fixed now? I just sucked it up and bought an easynews account and got it from usenet. Got too impatient.

I've found two torrents on torrentspy one for the AVI and one for a ZIP file of the preview but neither seem to be working.

I found another torrent on isohunt for the AVI which seems to be working but nobody is seeding it.

At present the best bet is to try emule, which currently has a single source for the AVI, but that should grow as more people download it.

If any one has the AVI can they seed the lastest torrent at isohunt.com or put it in there emule upload directory and leave emule running so that people can download it.

Boradband is the equivalent of cable in the US although in the UK we have both 9just to confuse the issue)

It`s basically a high speed internet access
