I just have no idea what those numbers mean. Is that 133 points? Or 133 possible points. Or some code for being at bat? No idea. Does 50 mean something special? Are they batting averages?

I know what a Wicket is, but what does one Wicket mean?

most of my cricket understanding has come from the movie Lagaan. And the whole end cricket scene was so boring that I tend to fast foward it on my DVDs and just skip over to the next song. They played for THREE DAYS! I get bored at a 2 hr baseball game.

Wow, one wicket and 133 hits (or bats or runs whatever you call them) seems to be alot! Doesn't a batter just keep hitting balls until he gets stuck out? And then there's the running back and forth thing that I just don't get. But, I'm not sure I want to understand.

Though, Jonathan Rhys Meyers did look incredibly hot when he was playing cricket at the end of Bend it Like Beckham. With his white vest on and all. Now, if cricket was always like that..I could see myself becoming interested.

I agree with TWG. I'm not much on sports, but if I had to watch something, it'd be soccer/football.
