Welcome one and all to the bizarrest thread in town...

For the relief of sickness, boredom, pointlessness, and all other Work related ailments take one thread daily.

How is everyone today?
Just had an exciting day of going to Basingstoke to be told things I already knew, and be shouted at and insulted by mad geriatric white van drivers...
How was everyone elses day?

Plus on the subject of dreams the weirdest one I had recently had TWG in it...

She was in a band, on top of the pops...

Weird huh?

That's just it Serenity, I don't think any of my pictures are pornographic. I mean there are a few that I know get a really high hit count because they are what you might call 'suggestive'. I always have bits covered. I think it was my Objects in Space ones. I'll figure it out.

Anyone want some pudding? It's tapioca....

Tapioca? Join me in the Tapioca?
Everybody tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tapioca,
Everybody, slap, slap, slap, slap, slap, slap, slapioca.
If ya got the dap, dap, dap-dap-dappier flappers flap-flap-flappier
Everyone is happier when the do the tap tapioca.
When they do the flap flapioca.
Tap, tap, tap, tapioca,
Slap, slap, slap, slapioca,
Tap, tap, tap, tap the tapioca.
Let's pretend we've got a bowl, we're gonna have some sport. Ha!
Add trumpled licks and a rag-time beat, let's say about a quart. Yeah!
Ya stir and stir it with your knee, adding a bump or two.
Ya heat it, mash it, beat it, smash it, if there's a lump or two.
Don't let the temperature drop to many degrees,
Or you'll wind up with what is called the frozen tapioca freeze!
Everybody, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap tapioca, everybody freeze!
Slap, slap, slap, slap, slap, slap slapioca everybody freeze!

That was fun! I love that dance!

No arrests that I am aware of. The table was still there today while I wasn't, though, so anything could've happened while I wasn't there to look after them all and wear my Jayne hat all gorram day long.

It was definitely the busiest table in the whole hall though. Between the few brief periods when there weren't so many folks around, the table was two to four rows of audience-ers deep. The trailers, the posters, the freebies and the hats just kept 'em coming. Some of the people kept coming back for another look. A lot of passers-by gladly took flyers and brochures, even when I was handing them out. I don't think the Jayne hat helped then so much.

Oh, and Clare and the Wash-O-Saurus put in an appearance. She was in that thing all day. A real trooper.

Freebies: postcards advertising the show, movie or fan made stuff; the posh flyers we all got at Starfury Serenity; even posher brochure things telling about Joss, Firefly and the cast to those that need it told; matchbooks from UiP (yes, those little flip books of matches, no idea why they thought those were a good idea); a CD with trailers, poster pictures, Comic Con and Wizard Con videos, The Signal podcasts and the soundtrack sample mp3s on it...

That was pretty much it.

For sale were: DVDs of Comic Con and... some other con that I don't know; a few of the Firefly DVD sets; Serenity comics; badges, magnets and keyrings; copies of the 'Finding Serenity' book (I got one!); fan art by Pauline and Clare (they looked brilliant!); Jayne hats, of course (shiny!); and SloopyJon's Mal pistol (I got one!) and Jayne pistol.

I can't remember if there was any more.

Plus, there was an LCD TV showing the first two trailers on loop the whole day. It got a lot of attention

Welcome back!

I was sorry I couldn't make it too. Yesterday at work was so depressing!! I kept thinking, I'd be at the shindig now!! And I had to miss a friends birthday party in London the night before too.

But I'm sure there will be more times. Maybe I'll have a shindig, so what if I don't have a house, I'll wait until my nan goes away and then invite everyone round there.

Although Dr. Evil might not want to come, I don't think he appreciates Bognor's true beauty!!

So Anthony won eh?! Surprising. Well maybe not, it was hardly gonna go to "Kinga with a bottle in her thinga" was it?

Ooh, and I'm thinking of applying to Plymouth university next year, and moving there. I fell in love with the seaside town last week.

Well, I bought a huge batch of Mini Creme Eggs then opened up all the packets and removed all the duds (the ones where the eggs had turned into that horrid goo or broken). At this stage in the Creme Egg season, you are looking at a 50% survival rate and I wanted you fine people to only have nice ones.
