Austinites who need Serenity #1!!!

I just got back from the HEB at the corner of East Riverside and Pleasant Valley. They had 7 copies of SERENITY #1 in the magazine rack.

They are all Mal covers. One of them is in less than perfect condition. I saw nothing to indicate these were not the 1st printing.

If you want to call them (I don't know if that will help or not. I tried calling them once and was on hold for about 40 minutes.) their number is 512-448-3544. The address is 2508 East Riverside, Austin, TX 78741

This is a positive sign. I don't think I've ever seen comics at this location before. If I have they've been the most popular Marvel and DC comics. That a Dark Horse comic is suddenly in the magazine rack at this chain is really good news.
