Great interview, perfect start to the day. Couldn't help but notice some factual errors such as-

"After Angel was prematurely killed, Whedon started with a space-opera, set 500 years in the future"

I thought Angel was killed after Firefly...

also, "his work on.. the first X-Men movie was less successful", I thought X-men was huge? Or are they just saying that because his script was edited so much?

But still a good article :)

"Whedon hopes Serenity makes money so he can do a trilogy, even see it return to TV." Just a reviewer's belief/assumption or.... is he "quoting?"

As Joss has only been quoted as talking about movie sequels if Serenity is successful, I would chalk it up as the writer's assumption, not a quote from Joss.
