Just messin with ya. I'm a long time addict of Firefly.

Its just that it seems there a good many threads started these days from people purporting to be new to Firefly, I get the feeling that most are fans just fishing for attention(kinda like this here thread...).

Could be i'm wrong though.

some of us ARE new to the Firefly clan though. I only started watching it when a friend from work gave me the set because he was addicted and knew that I was addicted to "Buffy" and "Angel" and that I also liked Joss' humour.

This was only about 2 months ago. Since then I have been surfing the net for a current, fairly frequented forum site to discus "Firefly".

I'm glad I stumbled upon this forum. IT ROCKS, with lots of great facts and threads to add to. Also, it's current. Some other forum sites haven't had a tread added to or created for MONTHS. It's depressing if you want to discuss ideas with someone and there is no evidence that anyone wants to talk back.

with serenity coming out this fall you should have expected something like this: people making converts to have more freaks at the theatre with them etc.
