A friend of mine from work went and saw 40 Year Old Virgin and he said the Serenity trailer was shown. Apparently there wasn't any sort of reaction from the crowd except for one person shouting "Serenity now!" which apparently is a Seinfeld reference. I can only assume that this crowd probably wasn't the typical sci-fi lovin' sort. The trailer was only shown because they're both Universal pics.

One would think that in this life
Where no two snowflakes are alike
One would have a brilliant rhyme
For each and every bit of time.

Yea the new Serenity trailer is being showed with the 40 year old virgin. Sort of odd since they're so different but I understand since they're both Universal pics.
The crowd I was with responded to it a little more. The part when Mal asks Jayne if he wants to run the ship, that got some laughs. Any way it was good seeing the trailer on the big screen again. Also the 40 year old virgin is pretty hi-larious, definitely worth checkin out.
