AMC Movie Theaters have 'Beyond the Script' for Serenity

I went to see the Dukes of Hazard movie the other night and got there early and of course the theater had their pre-movie commercials and other BS playing. I'm not paying too much attention when the Beyond the Script starts up. Its usually for movies I have no interest in. All of a sudden, a clip from The Train Job starts and Joss is on screen talking about Firefly/Serenity!!

Unfortunately, It was not a new lil documentary. They shortened the 13 minute documentary that came with Battlestar Galactica - Season 1. The whole thing lasted about 5 minutes and it was an amazing way to advertise for this movie.

I didn't see anyone else mention this so I thought you would all be interested in knowing

I don't know if this is at all AMC theaters but I'm assuming they wouldn't just play it in MN. I hope they are able to do this at other theaters besides just AMC!!

Yes, I have joined the MN Browncoats. Only just recently however at the suggestion of Hell's Kitten. I eagerly await any get togethers or movie premire parties!

Yeah I work at an AMC theatre, and I noticed that little Firefly related documentary when I was looking into one of the auditoriums. Oddly I still have not seen the full documentary.
