Hey everybody, I'm back!!

I'm gonna upload my photos in a sec and then I'll link you to them.

Okay...for those of you who don't know... (ie anyone besides Hilary and Carol...) I'll tell you all about yesterday!

Okay, well firstly, we got Nathan, Morena, Summer, Adam, Gina and Joss. So Gina was there instead of Jewel. Jewel and Sean had to catch a flight to Dublin so they weren't there! But I was very happy Gina was there!!

One the train journey up there, I wrote Summer a letter! Well, I had 7 hours to kill.

Okay, so, as we got a little closer in the queue, I saw Summer through a gap in the crowd!! And then she saw me! Her face lit up and she waved and mouthed "Hi". Obviously I waved back, and then I blew her a kiss, and she blew me one back! I had tears in my eyes - I was so touched!

And as we got to the front of the queue, Summer saw me and my friend Jason (another big summer fan) and she said "It's my boys!"

There were loads of hmv security guards...and they kept rushing everyone - they used force! - and the whole thing was so rushed. They kept saying that they didn't expect many people to be there...but they were advising people all week to get there early because it was going to be so busy. There can't have been more than 300 people there.

And they also limited us to only ONE ITEM to be signed!!

So I thought, I'll get my Firefly set signed then... but I really wanted Gina to sign the group cast photo that everyone I've met so far has signed, so I thought I'd get Gina to sign that instead of the set.

So I had my photo with Mr Baldwin, and he signed my set.

Then I went to Morena and Summer! YAY! Morena had this really cool looking coat thing on, it looked like one of her companion costumers. And Summer looked A-MAZING! Totally stunning! So I put my set down for them to sign, and I spoke to Morena (VERY briefly!) and then I spoke to Summer! Woohoo!! I told her and Morena that we were going to see Serenity that night, and they were really happy. And I said, Summer I wrote you a letter on the way up her, and I gave it to her. It says "To the beautiful Miss Glau" on the envelope. And she said aww, and she took it, and then I asked if I could have a photo done with her, and as we were pushed for time (grrr) I went round the table and got between her and Morena, and had one with the both of them! But the flash didn't go off, so I had to stay there and wait *sigh* for the flash to warm up so we could have it taken again! Summer leant in closer to me, so I did likewise!!

Then Joss signed my set! It was all so chaotic that I didn't even get to speak to him! And I couldnt get a photo done with him, but I snapped a quick one of him...but I didn't realise the flash didn't go off so it's not that good.

Then it was onto Nathan and Gina!! Gina was so nice! I've heard it said she's not keen on conventions, but she seemed to be having a great time! Anyway, security were tyring to get us keep moving along, but I just ignored them and said "Jason can you take a photo of me with Gina and Nathan?" and then I knealt down next to Gina (She's so beautiful...I can see why shes called an Amazon, she's stunning.) and she pulled Nathan in, and snap! Then I was just about to leave, so I went to pick up my set and the group photo from the table, and I saw that Gina had signed the set, instead of the photo...then as I took it away, she said "Oh, I think I missed that one." and she took it and signed it, I was really pleased!!

Then we were haggled on!

It was so chaotic, and I think me and Jason were one of the few that managed to get photos with most of them, so I felt really lucky.

But, to be honest, the guys all seemed a little stressed! Adam looked quite miserable, not the chirpy happy guy I met in June! And Nathan looked quite knackered, and Joss was just confused! I think the whole thing was just poorly organised.

But the look on Summers face when she saw me, I could have gone home a happy man just with that.

Then in the evening we had the film! It was so amazing!

There were 500 in our cinema, and the screen was massive. It was so amazing, another perfect day!!!

Now, please direct all your death threats through Rel, I'm sure he'll stack them all up.

Matt, heck I had tears welling up when you called me after the signing yesterday so can just imagine the state you were in!! Just can't wait to meet everyone at Serenity 2!

Fair play to all the cast & crew for going to the screenings last night & doing talks when they must have been shattered.

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry I've been completely AWOL for what feels like forever!!

I'm moving house/country in a little over 10 days and you wouldn't believe the amount of work that takes!!

No excuse I know, lots of you went to Edinburgh I know I hope you all had a good time and I wish I could have been there. Saw lots of you on the Serenity webchat this afternoon, I enjoyed it but I did notice that whoever was moderating seem to pick on the same people over and over again.

I'm still going to be at Serenity 2 with my kids and I'm not promising I'll post that often but i'll try.

I have to admit, I followed the chat for 30 mins or so but wasn't that bothered when I had to stop! We know the Serenity crew are a bunch of jokers, nonetheless would have been nice to see some slightly more cerebral questions...

Photos...

This one makes up for the crap one I ended up with at LFACC.



This was the first one I had taken with Summer & Morena, but Jason forgot the flash! But I still like it, I like Summers face in it, shes smirking! I started off evenly between the two, and then Summer leant in closer to moi so I did likewise - as you do!! AND Joss is kinda in it, so I did sorta get to have a pic with him!


And this was the second! I love it!! It's a shame the online quality isn't a patch of the actual photo quality. I was really pleased with them.

Hello

New to here so not too sure where to post stuff about the movie. Here seem safe but just in case i wont mention anything except to say that I saw it on Monday with the entire cast and again last night. Loved every bit of it. Went to the q and a with Joss on the tuesday and the signing in HMV yesterday morning. I have a very odd story from that that im hoping someone can shed a bit of light on. Me and my mates got some stuff printed up to get signed, I had a mini movie poster, a cool montagey pic of loads of the chinesey artwork with the serenity logo, the promo shot of Jayne standing on the hover vechile thing and the behind the scenes picture of Nathan and Zoe on the hoverthingy goofing around.

I got this picture from the old serenity movie site when they had the blog section. This picture for me summed up what a great cast this is, showing how much they get on and how they're comfortable looking silly and having a laugh. So I got to the top of the queue and got my Jayne pic ( from the same site) signed by Adam. Adam was cool,but kinda stand offish, kept doing the "hollywood hug" where u make it look like ur arm is around someone for a photo but its actually hovering about half a foot off them. Then came Morena and River who were very quite (although to be fair even if they had spoken to me, i don't that words would have come out). They seemed very uninterested in meeting the people who had queued for an hour to meet them and when my friend asked morena could he get a photo with here she smiled fakely and said "if you're quick". Next up was joss who I attempted to have a "conversation" with which boiled down to "Buffy....Angel...great film...loved it....." And then IT happened. As joss was signing my dvd cover i handed Nathan my picture of him and Gina. He looked at it and kinda smirked and showed it to Joss. Joss said "You knew that picture would come back to haunt you." and then nathan handed me back the picture and said "Sorry, i'm not going to sign this". I was completely thrown, but was waiting for him to start laughing and say he was joking, but he never did. He just handed me back the picture, in what was on of the most awkward moments of my recent life, having someone you're a huge fan of refuse to sign something for you. he then said he'd have no problem signing my dvd box but he just doesn't sign "pictures like those". And then he said the weirdest thing, he went "And you can tell whoever you got that picture off on the Internet that I don't appriciate it." It was from the film's official site! At this stage i just wanted to get out of their. I've been trying to come up with some possible reason for why he acted like a total shit because i really dont wanna not like this guy. If anyone can shed any light on why this might be please tell me. In the end I got my jayne pic signed by Adam, the mini movie and my dvd signed by Inara, River,Adam, Joss, Nathan and Gina and the chinesey one signed by Joss. To be honest the experiance was completely ruined for my cos of Nathan so I'm just hoping someone can tell me why this happened. If not and it turns out the Big Damn Movie has given him a Big Damn Ego can everyone please bring copies of this picture to every signing event and see what reaction they get.
