From Universal:

We have an upcoming screening in San Francisco and I would like to provide you with passes to hand out to whomever you would like (Browncoats, new recruits etc). The screening will take place on September 6th, time and place is still TBA.

**Each pass admits two on a first come first served basis - admission is not guaranteed.**

From Me:
For those who think they can make it, here’s how some of the passes will be distributed:
The first 20 people to e-mail me their full name and screen name at teh_geek_girl at gmail dot com will have their name added to the list. Please put "Sept. 6th Screening" in the subject line. 1 name is 1 pass and 1 pass gets 2 people in line. I will e-mail the first 20 people to let them know they got a pass. If you have to cancel after you’ve received confirmation, please let me know ASAP and I will then e-mail the 21st, 22nd etc.. person who e-mailed me.
The day of the screening I will be at the theater (whichever it is) and will hand out the passes to people on the list as they arrive. People who didn’t get their name on the list in time are encouraged to show up anyway. We may have no-shows and we may have people who have a pass for themselves, but don’t have a guest. And even if you don’t get in, you get to hang out with a bunch of browncoats for a couple hours. Is there something you’d *rather* do?
Obvioulsy as I get the info of the when and where, I’ll post it on this thread. Let’s fill this theater with excited fans and show the press what kind of buzz this movie already has!

Frankly, no, but in fact I will be OUT OF THE BAY AREA for an anniversary trip with my non-Browncoat spouse. How many years of relationship hell do you think I'd have to endure if I snuck out of this one to go see the BDM?

My days of taking myself seriously are definitely coming to a middle.
