I pre-ordered the RPG from amazon.co.uk (I'm UK-based). Their currently showing delivery as 4 Oct 2005 - 6 Oct 2005.

I thought the RPG was meant to be out late August. Does anyone (11th hour?) know when it's due to be published?

I believe the current dateline is mid to late September. The website for it ( www.serenityrpg.com) should be online sometime soon, which should give extra info as well as (hopefully) some of the quickstart stuff. Plus the ability to order it direct, which is my method of choice in this even though I am in the UK too, what with the limited edition and all

I heard from a friend word he has gotten is three weeks. Time has kept them away from finishing the website.

The Game itself is out already.

I don't know how mnay distributors have it, but the game is out. I bought mine at GenCon Indy.

I'd recommend ordering the book through your local gaming store. (The publisher is Sovereign Press.) Ordering from Amazon is bad for two reasons:

1. It puts local brick and mortar stores out of business.

2. Amazon doesn't actually stock rpg titles in most cases. They wait and gather a bunch of orders for a title, and then place one big order from a distributor--usually weeks later. Fans of my husband's company have learned the hard way to not buy gaming supplies through them, unless they're totally mainstream (like the WotC Player's Guide).
