OH MY RUTTIN' GAWD!

This came out today (well yesterday but I haven't gone to sleep yet) and it is the best $20 I have spent in a looooong time.

Now if you haven't seen the movie yet, know this:

IT IS ONE BIG SPOILER!!!

As in, the entire shooting script is in the book.
Can't get much more spoilerish than that folks.

The images are to die for, the art is awesome, and Joss's forword is full of, well, Joss!

If you've seen the movie already, or simply don't give a rat's ass if the movie is spoiled for you, I recommend you go get it. Not only does it cover the whole of the movie, but there is plenty of background on the Firefly 'Verse!

Got the movie book and the novelization the same day from Amazon... I have locked them in a strong box and given my wife the key so as not to be spoiled, but there's a little voice in my head that keeps telling me that it knows where the key is hidden and why don't we get up at 3 am and go look for it...
I think it's cool that the covers are the Crazy River covers.

I got it, read through it quickly - my wife read it cover to cover - and loved it. Me, I've been wanting the map of the 'Verse and planet list for a LONG time. I wish they were more detailed - the RPG will have more info, I hear.

Question on what's allowable - can we post the map or planet list in the Blue Sun Room? I've never been clear on that sort of thing.

Funny, they didn't reply to me at all.

Thanks for the effort though. Not everyone got a reply...heck, I think you are maybe the third person to have told me you got a response at all.

I had to fight with them to get paid too. They tried to tell me I didn't have any sales. Good thing I save copies of all the "paperwork". :)

Okay, I'm done threadjacking my own thread...

It was so shiny of Joss to include some close-ups of things we couldn't see well (by design) in the movie. I kept flipping the pages sayin "Oooh, look at all the pretties", even when they were uglies!

Now I am looking forward to issue 3 of the Serenity comic AND seeing the BDM again AND our shindig in Cincy on the 24th AND getting the figures AND AND did I mention seeing the BDM?
