You stay up all nigt watching firefly instead of studying for your finals and around 3 AM use your shirt and windex to clean yur computer screen. You end up going to your finals smelling like windex because you decided to watch the series again as opposed to studying/sleep.... (as well as shower or change clothes) HEY OiS was nearly finished!

Gosh, is sounds like you've got a real problem. Maybe Haken could set up a FFA (Firefly Fan's Anonymous) support group on this site. We could help each other and take turns saying our names and going out for a smoke.

Hi, my name is Koffee, and I'm a Firefly addict.

I used to be in FFA, but that was a different group.

Sorry, bout the confusion. I sometimes forget that not everyone grew up in the middle of No and Where like me.

Future Farmers of America was an organization I was in during high school. We learned not only about farming, but buisness managment, leadership, public speaking and the like. And at least once during your membership you got to go to National Convention. Imagine thousands of teenagers in in one place for hours on end listening to boring speakers. We managed to keep ourselves amused.......

Wacky times!

I can imagine. It sounds like y'all had some sex. I have been keepng "tabs" on you Koffee. It's not as sinister as it sounds though. I don't know why, but for the past few days I have been interested in reading your posts. They have made me think differently. I like that. Hope you don't mind the attention. You have a fan.

No sex, at least not that I saw (or did), but it was very dark in there. Who knows what the other chapters (groups) were up to. We were mostly throwing paper airplanes and such. Our chaperones were keeping a close eye on us.

I didn't mean nuthin' improper there ma'am.
I wouldn't want to get you in trouble with yer fella.
I just like the way you express yerself, is all.
Your viewpoint is different from mine. Not too different, but enough that I wanted to learn more. I have been able to understand where most people here on FFF are coming from fairly quickly (not to be rude to the others.) But you were enticing me with words of an altered mindset. So, there you go. I like a challenge. I guess that, like Sarahetc, I enjoy watching what people write and how they write it, so that I can make little pictures in my head of everybody. She puts it out in words though. You all make up quite the community in my minds' eye.

Sarahetc. has been chastising me for ignorin' you fine folks, so after I said I was sorry and made myself stand in the corner, I thought I'd show you guys that I didn't abandon ya, and I'm back!

You guys have been all mature and stuff, so I thought I'd roll back the maturity level some!

Neener, neener, neener!

This might also have something to do with the fact that my *gasp* 30th birthday is coming up. I'm trying to hold onto my babyness in anyway I can!

Haken: Where's our spanking icon? You know, for birthdays and such notice the innocence in the request!

Koffee, jes because you're working on your birthday, that doesn't mean you still can't celebrate it a few days before or after. I plan on it. Actually, my hunny is a notorious prankster (put a coffin on his sister's front porch for her 40th) so I'm going clear cross country to make sure he won't do anything on my 30th. So, you know you’re addicted to firefly when-- you get cut off from the message board for less than a week and you suffer from an addict-like withdrawal. Yeah, convulsions, hallucinations, the whole deal.

Gezz, I could try to give you all separate birthday wishes… but there are just too many of you. Happy Birthday to all yee browncoats!

But--a special happy birthday to Koffe, a fellow Browncoat and Gemini. And I’m not yet a 30 something yet, but my birthday is next month too.

Haken: A very innocent request…… for B-days and such.

Lostangel: I would prolly try to plan something for the weekend before, but I never know if I am going to work or not until the Wednesday before the weekend in question. However……I just got conformation tonight that my 11 year class reunion is the weekend after and plans are to get together in the bar at our home town. And ya, I said 11 year. We never had a 5 or 10 so some non-class-officers decided to h*ll with waiting on them, lets get our own together.
So, I will be taking a vacation day to guarantee my weekend off. Looks Like I will be “celebrating” after all. Not exactly for my b-day, but close enough.

Kaythryn: Cool another June birthday. Happy (future) birthday to you too! We actually have a few in my family in June and they go in a interesting sequence. I’m on the 3rd, my cousin is on the 13th, hubby is on the 23rd, and my aunt is the 30th. We got all the days with a “3” in it covered!

Lerxst and Kenwood: Now don’t be feeling bad about being older. Ain’t nothing wrong with that. Some of the hottest guys (IMO) are well over 30. Shoot, Sam Elliot is almost 60 and he is just as handsome as ever. (As long as he is wearing his moustache anyway, he looks funny without it, course I got a thing for facial hair.)

I've been lurking around since November or so. Finally got up the gumption to post and figgered this might be a shiny topic to start with.

You know you're addicted to Firefly when:

1) You spend a three day weekend connected through a dial-up connection trying to download the one episode you missed when it aired.

2) You blew money on those horrid iron-on transfers sheets for the printer just so you could make yourself one of them there "Blue Sun" t-shirts.

3) You've gone through to trouble of converting every one of your friends into a Firefly fan just so you could run a GURPS campaign set in the Firefly universe and they'd understand what the hell you were talking about.

4)Whenever you're watching an old Babylon 5 episode and someone mentions the Alliance, you instinctively growl.

5) Your 10 month old daughter speed-crawls over to the TV and hugs the screen whenever you're watching an episode and the theme song comes on.

You know you’re addicted to firefly when you find yourself sitting in front of the Firefly fans message board in your blue sun tank top conversing with Alliance friendly acquaintances in the other room and playing a mental game to try and see how long you can talk to them while only quoting Firefly. They’ve yet to catch on.

Now I’ve got to go buy a new swim suit for this sexy hot tub party we’re planning... unless they’re optional. Nah, even in this digital fantasy party I think we should all be toting a suit. I don’t know how much of all of you I want to see-- think I got my fill with that pictures of Succatash.

You know you're addicted to Firefly when:

1) You get confused by what someone's telling you and find yourself saying, "Some people juggle geese."

2)Someone mentions a post-holer and you find yourself smiling uncontrollably.

3) People ask you why your new sun tatoo is blue.

4) Your copy of the Bible (or the Tanakh) is visible missing any mention to Noah orhis ark.
