Anyone have any idea if Serenity could be released in the IMAX format in the same way that Batman and Charlie/Choc. Fact. were done? I'm not sure what the process/cost of creating that format, but I think it would definitely be worth doing.

That would be awesome but I don't think our BDM is considered a big enough release to warrant it.

Well, I remember once being at the IMAX at Navy Pier in Chicago to see Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and a theater rep came out before the movie and asked the audience for movie suggestions, so who knows...

I think a lot of the time the IMAX version maybe comes out a month or two after the movie is out, or no longer first run, or something. I believe that was the case with Matrix Reloaded.

So who knows? Maybe there is hope.

i don't mean to be an ass, but matrix was released in imax and reg on the same date (sorry i'm a matrix freak) yeah i'm a 23 yr old matrix freak so i'm a dork what can i say?
