To double post or not to double post,
That is the question!
Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous posting,
or take arms against a sea of posts, and by reading end them;
To read: to post;
no more;
And by the posting,
to say we end the heart-ache and the thousand natural random shocks that team random is heir to,
'tis a consummation devoutly to be wished! To read, to post;
To Post: perchance to randomize.

Hello thread? Anyone here?

Tee hee, finish work in half an hour!

Although with no work it means less time spent procrastinating and generally avoiding working so I may be on the boards less... Oh well.

'Morning, Randomites.

First e-mails of the day are handled, finished the document I was working on for the boss, first cuppa office coffee is in hand ... now I can press on with the day's regular chores, with a spot of time here and there wasted hanging out here.

Happy Friday!

I didn't make coffee this morning, I had a glass of milk.

And one of my tires was low on air this morning so on the way to work I had to stop and put air in it and I got tire grunge schmeared on my white shirt. Bleh.

Oh well, it's FRIDAY!!!!!!

It's kinda foggy and cool outside (upstate New York) right now, but supposed to brighten up considerably by late morning. How's it over there?

Didn't have to make the coffee this morning (for a change), someone had beaten me to the pot--but I'll sure do my part in drinking it!

It is a lovely day here. Nice and cool, blue blue blue skies, a nice breeze, scent of pine. Wish I didn't have to be inside. Wish I could open my office window.

I only drink decaf so I always have to make my own pot and I'm just too lazy to do it. So, no coffee for me.

Just looking out the window, the fog's almost completely burned off and the sky's gone a nice shade of blue; turning into a lovely day. Yay!

Over twenty-three years in the US military taught me to drink coffee of widely varying quality. When I brew my own I'm fairly picky: I grind my own beans, use a thermal carafe instead of a hot pad to keep it warm after brewing, stuff like that. Everywhere else I just take it as it comes. I'm an addict, and know it; my one concession to growing a little older is I stop drinking it after noon each day and switch to bottled water.

I'm at work and I'm trying to cut checks, which I hate doing but I keep getting distracted by people calling or stopping by. I don't like it when people come by on Friday because I'm the only one here and the place is locked up and they always jerk on the door several times trying to get it open, then finally ring the doorbell and I have to get up and let them in and then they think that my sole purpose being in the office on Friday is to 1) entertain them or 2) listen to their stories when really, I have lots of stuff I'm trying to do and I wish they'd just let me get back to it.

I can't wait to go home so I can sleep. And watch Firefly on Sci Fi. But I think I have to go to a family thing tonight. *sigh*

Gorgeous day outside...sorry for posting so late.

Cut my hair yesterday.....i think it's too short...*whimper*...it's almost above my shoulders...eek.

On the plus side, went to a new hairstylist and he's a sculptor. He's been looking for a photog. Guess what! He is at this moment looking through my 'online portfolio' to see if I'm suitable. *giggle* I may have a job...though a very short one. I have an interview today with a computer retail store. Next week....who knows.

8 inches is a little less than they prefer. I got it cut too soon for that. When I donate I have to wait a year and a half between to make sure there's a usable foot of hair, no dead ends and stuff. But I figured since I was starting fresh in the workplace, I should spruce up a bit.

You can donate seven. But my hair had lots of split ends. It would have meant cutting off a few inches and then they couldn't use it. I've been doing it for, gosh, i think 7 years now. I think a year off is okay.

The first time I did it, I didn't tell the guy I was dating that I was going to the donation center, I mean, who'd have thought he'd care. I see him that night and he throws an absolute fit. How rude! You cut your hair! How could you! Nevermind that it was donated, he didn't care. It was still past my shoulders....jerk. I found out why he was dating me.

My wife usually mows and I follow with the weed-whacker to trim things up, because she enjoys getting out and doing stuff like that, but I knew today she's going to be too tired (been a long week at work for her) so I left work early to get it done and surprise her.
