Whichwhich? Moi? I had an apartment here in NY, she had hers there in Mass. At some point in the relationship we decided it was going to be a long-term thing; then she quit her job and moved to NY. I'd have loved to be the one quitting/moving, but I was military at the time so that wasn't an option.

The two-man IT company I am an employee of rents a flat in the area. My 'cell' consists of only a bed, a chair and a computer workstation for my laptop. But we have networked broadband, so it's not as bad as it could be.

Can I say that I had one of the best days ever? Cause I did.

Just a fantastic afternoon. Wow. Amazing. I'm speechless it was just...the best ever. Very enjoyable for me...wow. Did I say wow? Cause it was brilliant.

Then my dad won his game...it was horrible! 12-1. I was tempted to play for the other team and I was wearing heels! Even that would have helped. Apparently their keeper was out sick or something. Seriously, I would have been better than the guy that stood in for him. But it was still cool.

Jake calls me from California telling me that when Microsoft rented Universal Studios for them last night, he took all the pictures he could of Serenity related items for me. I wasn't expecting that...and he got me a one-sheet movie poster...surprise.

I decided to buy myself dinner...I go to my fave pub and ask to sit for one...I'm given the entire corner booth...HUGE! So I'm eating my fish and chips and drinking my Fullers when a party walks into the pub. Guess where they need to sit? Yep! With me. So, I'm in the corner of the booth and suddenly I'm surrounded by 20 strangers...it was so cool. The stories I heard! One had nipples and biting...Whoa! And there were cameras...and I think I was in a few pictures....anyway, it just made my good day better.

I come home perfectly excited about bedtime. Can anyone remember when I was looking forward to sleep and actually getting sleep? No? So, I'm off to bed...

They're supposed to be dishwater safe. I've only just received my mug and for the life of me can't remember if it's been through the dishwasher - is so would only have been once or twice anyway. But they look pretty decent mugs to me.
